RECENT UPDATES 02-08-01: Where to begin? Well, back in early december I was looking into adding a few used skyjacker leaves to my poorly sagging OME packs. I obtained the extra leaves from a friend and was looking over my packs and noticed that they were in quite bad shape. They had a slight "W" shape to them, which would account for the Spring wrap i was getting. So at this point I decided my springs had no practical life left in them. I set out to buy a new set of springs. Looking at Skyjacker 4" and BDS 4", I finally opted for the latter, due to their Lifetime - No questions asked Warranty. Week after Xmas, I spent putting in the new packs, which wasn't too bad. I ran into a few minor problems like breaking off a bolt in the frame, and shearing some of my ubolts off w/ brute force. :) So lift completed just in time to go to NY for NYE and do some wheeling.... Or so i thought. Jeep didn't make it....distributer went south... when that was fixed, thermostat happened to freeze shut, OVERHEAT, blown head gasket... you know the usual. Finally had the head checked out.. it's fine, new gasket is now in place and all the bugs seem to be worked out "for the time being". All this and i haven't had a chance to test out those new springs. SOON i shall bring it wheelin and have some new pics up.
