| In mid November of 2005, Mom & I went on a trip to Ft. Lauderdale and the Sheraton resort at Our Lucaya in Grand Bahama. What a beautiful place, eventhough hurricanes had done heavy damage only weeks before our visit. We had a relaxing, enjoyable and very delectable few days here. If you happen to find yourself here, definitely order the chocolate coconut cake at "The Prop Club". The people were very friendly and they looked at us strangely as we walked around in our shorts and t-shirts as they said they were in a cold spell w/ temps in the mid 70's at night and mid 80's during the day. The water was an amazing emerald green. I am absolutely putting the Carribean back on my list of places to vacation (maybe live one day!!!!). |
