                  Motor

The motor started off as a  427 "tall deck" truck block. It was bored .060" over to give a bore size of 4.310".
A BRC crank with a stroke of 4.5" [1/2" over stock] pushes Eagle conrods 6.535 long and Wiseco pistons with the pin .250 further up in the piston.
This gives this engine a displacement of 525 cubic inches.

I build my own engines but I get a lot of advice and all machine work is performed by

A Crow flat tappet cam, turned by a Rollmaster  timing set, pushes Comp Cams push rods and Crane rockers held by a Moroso stud girdle.  -
Chev stock steel big port heads, with a bit of my own porting work, with 2.25" SS intake valves and 1.88" exhaust valves, Crane springs are held down with ARP head studs.

A cam driven Argo water pump has an Enderlie fuel pump bolted on to the back of it to feed the methanol into the Crower Fuel Injection.
An MSD 6A Electronic Ignition and MSD "Blaster 3 Coil", Topgun 10mm leads fire NGK sparkplugs.

All parts are supplied by Stuart Clements from
