This is RAM MAN's 98 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab (Say that 4 times fast). You may know him from the Sportruck.com Message Boards. Lets get to the mods: A K&N filter assists induction, 2inch drop shackes and a Hellwig antisway bar aid the suspension. The grille is painted to match the cheery red of the truck, the rims are polished billet, the taillights third brake lights, and markers are covered, and the interior is adorned with a stainless steel dash kit. Future plans include a dual split catback exhaust peeking out of a custom roll pan with exhaust cutouts, new wheels and tires, a couple racing stripes, some new gears, and a "Mr. Norm" front bumper. Great Truck!
Here is a welcome addition to the line up of trucks. This is Mike Halloran's 83 Scottsdale 4x4. The first thing we notice about this hauler is the tires. They are 35x14.50x15 Super Swamper Boggers. They are wrapped around 15 inch Chrome Mod. rims. The next thing we lowrider guys see is the lift, which is achieved through a 4 inch Racho suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift. What you don't see is the newly rebuilt 350 out of a Vette, which has enough mods help this truck out if it gets slowed down in the mud. "Big Brown" as this truck is nicknamed was blessed with a new two tone paint job, and it looks great. To round out this huge truck is a custom Pioneer sound system that includes 2 10's, 6x9's, 6inch subs, a 200W amp and a Pioneer head. Another great truck, and a good change of pace.
Here is the start of Tony's 71 Chevy C10. Again, we have a lifted truck, 3 inches actually. Two things you cannot see are the rebuilt 69 Corvette 350 under the hood and the 4x4 1 ton chassis. Tony has big plans for this truck (Don't we all?). These plans include a metallic purple paint job with neon green glow in the dark lettering across the tailgate. Question? Suggestions? Here we have Matt Shaw's 97 S-10 ext cab. So far, he has put on a 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust system, clear corners, a Street Scene spoiler with matching speed grilles and mirrors. Other mods include a billet emblem, custom bed cover, painted handles, an airad intake and traction action bars. On the inside are some sweet auido compents including a Kenwood CD deck, MB Quart speakers all around and some MTX Thunder 500 subs to liven things up. Next for Matt? A 3 inch drop and some 17's, what else?
UPDATE! Matt has dropped the truck 3 inches, the 17's are ordered and on their way, a new paintable grille was added along with new mirrors. Sweet!
