Obtained TESOL Certificate.September 1997: Obtained IATA Ticketing Certificate.
October 1994: Obtained a M.A. degree in Political Science with a thesis written in English language titled: "Aristotle's Athenian Constitution Re-visited, Tribal Origins of Ancient Democracy."
July 1991: Completed Courses and Study visits of Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Obtained licence of Professional Tour Guide.
June 1990: Obtained BSc in Public Administration and Political Science at M.E.T.U. And proceeded post graduate studies.
September 1985: Transferred to the Department of Political Science from Sociology at the same university.
September 1980: Admitted to Department of Metallurgical Engineering which left for Social Sciences.

2001 -2004
Freelance Tour Guide / Tour leader based in Istanbul.2000 Worked as Travel consultant for TTS travel in Vancouver.
1999 Worked as Tour Leader for Richmond / Vancouver based Adventures Abroad, led tour groups to Balkan Countries.
1991-1998 Professional Tour Guide on Freelance Basis. Operated and guided tours all around Turkey for several travel agencies in English since 1991, in Japanese since 1992.
1991 Worked as trainee journalist in the Associated Press for a brief period.
1988-1991 Worked as translator for dubbing of T.V. serials and films.
1988 Translated several articles, on women in Latin America some of which appeared under the title "Latin Amerika'da Askeri Diktatörlük ve Kadin".
1987-8 Worked as a Community Service Volunteer in the U. K.
Employed by Essex County Council Social Services as programme advisor in Juvenile Delinquency Project.
Employed in a project in London for facilitation of physically handicapped.
Further employed as interpreter for Turkish Community Service in London, a job supported by London Borough of Hackney.

Went through an educational system where English is used as a medium of instruction on the most part. Had an ample opportunity to develop hearing speaking and lecturing skills in the present job.Japanese: Interested since high school days. French: Knowledge of fundamental grammar out of two years attendance at the regular courses at the University.

1997 Summer: Traveled in Italy and Greece by motorbike extensively in order to exhaust some rarely visited antiquities poor access.
