Professional experience

Co-host of a TV show produced by the CBC, Téléchrome, Radio-Canada, (1972-74);

Analyse and comment drawings sent by a young public, learning the Art of producing Comic Strip; I had to teach them, on TV, the necessary skills to produce a good comic strip.

Honored by 2 Grants from the Canadian Art Concil;

One to produce a black and white scomic trip album and the other, to write a user's manual on airbrush techniques (1973-74.

Creation of the first colored comic strip magasine in Quebec, l'Écran (1974-75)



Architectural design at «Les Maisons Drummond» (1976-77)

Produce illustrations for new houses models.

Court Illustrator for «le service de l'information de Radio-Canada», CBC, (1977-80)

Courtroom illustrations.

Background animation layouts for the film Heavy Metal, Taarna section, Potterton, Columbia Picture, (1980-81)

Produce clean layouts for the animation backgrounds.

Télévision

Creation and writing of the series Micro-Monde, (CBC) Radio Canada, (1982-84)

Research and writing, editing and studio hosting for a series about the impact of new technologies in our environment. This was the first series about computer technology in the beginning of the 80's.

Music for the series «4 voix 1 Parole», (CBC) Radio-Canada, (1984- 85)

Writing and producing music to illustrate the series; done in MIDI with electronic instruments.

A little break in furniture handpainting (Rosemalling and other techniques)... (1986-88)



Education

Director of a Boarding school at «Collège du Mont-Sacré-Coeur», in Granby (1989-90)

(Note : this, probably was the most significant experience in my life; being responsable for the education of teenagers requires a special involvement, which in return, enlarges one's mind)

Desktop bublishing. Production of schoolbooks for the «Département du Français au collégial», layout, design and everything ready to print. (1986-...)

The strips, written and illustrated by the author, were about teenager's preoccupations and problems. They were published once a week for almost two years.
