| Well, now that I have you here, welcome to Dave's World/Hobbes' Home. I'm a 1964 vintage male type individual. I work as a computer/network instructor. I've always wanted to be a teacher, so after a long time, I've finally found the perfect job. I'm a contrast of styles...on the one hand I'm very shy around people I don't know, especially in large group gatherings, but on the other hand I always want to be the center of attention (probably why I'm a teacher huh?). Therefore, I get this fill by playing my guitars, usually for an audience of one...my youngest daughter. However someday I do aspire to be in a band again. I guess time will tell. Other ways I spend my time include coaching youth sports...especially Basketball and soccer. I love doing this and if I could, I would do this fulltime, but being a volunteer position, it doesn't pay many bills. *smile* I also run a great deal. In fact, I've run three marathons so far. I usually finish in a tad under 4 hours, but eventually I want to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Other interests I have include Fantasy sports and the Oakland Raiders. I am also an avid Twins fan, and I enjoy Hockey too...following the Minnesota Wild with a passion. Gosh...what else can I tell you...lets see...Oh yeah, I've been married since 1984, and I have three beautiful children, Nick, Alyssa, and Bailey.
