Mission StatementAmherst, Nova Scotia, in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, declare this to be our Mission: To proclaim the Good News of Our Lord Jesus to all people; To live as a family in faithful relationship with the Lord; To be a witness to the presence of Christ in our words and deeds. We recognize our parish as a community of believers with distinct character, goals and manner of celebrating within the Catholic Church. We recognize the right and duty of all parishioners to participate fully in all aspects of parish life in cooperation with our Pastor and members of our pastoral team. It is our goal to accept and to assist each member of our community as we journey together in faith to meet our Father. We pray to Our Blessed Mother and seek the strength of The Holy Spirit to pursue this goal as a community of believers in Christ. Parish Council
