Our New Archbishop

Saint Charles and Nativity of Our Lady are parishes of the Archdiocese of Halifax.. Since September 14,. 1998, we have a new Archbishop. Most Rev. Terrence Prendergast, S.J., was formally installed in Saint Mary's Cathedral Basilica in Halifax on that date. Two days later, Archbishop Prendergast came to Cumberland County where he celebrated the Eucharist with people from all parishes of the county at Saint Charles Church. Thus began a relationship which promises to be very warm, between our parishes and the new chief shepherd of our diocese.
