Paro
Airport is located at an altitude of 2,300 mtrs and the flight into this
valley is breathtaking. On a clear day you can view the Great Himalayan
range including Mt. Everest in neighbouring Nepal. The government
owned Druk - Air (Royal Bhutan Airlines) is the only airline to operate
in and out of the kingdom. The Airline operates with two BAE (British
Aerospace) twin engine jets that can accomodate only eighty passengers
at a time.
