These paintings were created in Germany, '95 and '96, in memory of some happier times. They represent Bosnia that does not exist now. Every painting helps me create a relationship to the memory it describes. I cared about themes more than the artistic norms, so they need more balancing, just as I need more time to understand...(Omer Brkic) |
