      Pride of the Pantheon

      Pride of the Pantheon, 1999

      The Pride of the Pantheon award is sponsored by the Athens Community Leaders. Standards for winning this award are not as difficult as the Best of Athens award. Winning sites receive

          * a link in the Browse Great Athens Websites section of this site
          * a "Pride of the Pantheon" award gif [as shown above]
          * membership in Pride of Pantheon webring
          * nominations for other award programs as applicable

      If you think your site has a chance at this award, then ask for a Site Critique. [And you get an award gif just for trying!] If you are fairly certain that your site qualifies, then you may prefer to use the EXPRESS line.

      Requirements for Pride of the Pantheon:

        • Site must be in Athens
        • No violations of Geocities Content Guidelines
        • All links and images work
        • Text is easily legible against the background.
        • Reasonable load time for all pages - 60 seconds or less on a 28.8K modem for all main pages
        • No glaring spelling, grammar, HTML or Javascript errors.
        • There must be at least some worthwhile content that fits one or more of the Athens themes in some fashion. Content must be enjoyable, educational, or other useful resource.
