THE GAEL FORCE BAND MEMBERS
The Gael Force Band is a combination of a "ton o' talent". Three friends got together to enjoy "jammin'" and discovered there was a need for Celtic music in the mid-South. Below is information on the individuals who create the unique sound of

An Alabama native, Jim has played bass over thirty years, playing in orchestra, big bands, jazz, folk, and bluegrass groups. His playing style has influenced the bass in bluegrass groups across the southeast and his teaching produced a "Bluegrass Unlimited" Magazine most promising bass player. Charismatic front man of The Gael Force Band. The son of an Air Force officer, Dave learned his unique skills at the tutelage of Irish pub owner, John Kenny, in Kaiserlautern, Germany. His first guitar (which he stills plays) was a gift for his sixteenth birthday from his uncle, Patrick Flynn, who called it a "dating aid". He has played extensively across Europe and the U.S. Dave is rapidly becoming known within the tri-state region of Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee for his blend of folk, blues, bawdy ballads, and original pieces. He has performed professionally for over three years now and has pooled the talents of his friends to form one of the only working Irish folk bands in the mid-South. |
