Regret

When we first met, that's when I knew
The first time we kisses, my dreams had come true.
I waited for you all of my life,
Not being with you cuts like a knife.
Now we're apart and I really feel bad,
My life without you, will always be sad.
We made our mistakes, and had some good times too.
All I can do now, is wish to see you.
I tried my best, to make it work out,
But because I failed, I feel like a jerk.
I wasn't always right, I wasn't always wrong,
I'm sorry our relationship, didn't last long
I'm glad you don't hate me
That is good to know.
But there's a lot of love
That I still must show.
The good time we had, I will NEVER forget it,
But the loss of your love, I will ALWAYS regret it.
She can stop me from seeing you,
She can stop me from touching you,
But the one thing she can't do, is stop me from LOVING you.
You had a grip on me, like no one before.
It me me so much, to walk out that door.
If we get back together.
Which I hope will happen again,
When that time come, I will smile again.
I will love you forever,
Please don't ever forget that,
