Coat of Arms
Yellow is the colour which represents light and, as here, is often used as the symbol for enlightenment. Pure yellow is a very happy colour. It radiates warmth, inspiration and a sunny disposition. It is associated with the intellect and with mental inspiration. Yellow rays carry positive, magnetic currents which are both stimulating and inspiring.Green is the colour of balance and as such is able to engender stability to both mind and emotions. As human beings, we comprise body, mind and spirit and green has the power to bring these three aspects into balance to create a wholeness.
Black - like our Creator - is all encompassing, a colour which contains all things and out of which all things come. The darkness of the earth is a sacred womb which nurtures the germinating seed. Likewise, the sacred darkness contained within the female uterus gives protection and nourishment to the growing fetus. Perhaps its ability to absorb all things is one of the reasons why young people, still trying to find their path in life, are attracted by it.
The lion embodies the traits of fierce independence, of the fighting warrior when cornered or threatened, and of the ability to see clearly what it looks at. While the male is the protector of the group, he does not seek confrontation or attack needlessly. He will act when challenged and fight to the death to protect, but he much prefers the calm and peaceful life. The lion teaches us to learn the secrets of silence and of watching for the proper moment to take important action. Like the fox, the lion is stealthy and can disappear into its surroundings to get its bearings, to learn where the strengths and weaknesses lie, and to watch for its opportunity to take full advantage of a situation. Learn the proper use of power, force, and strength. Be calm, quiet, and secure in your power but, when necessary, don't hesitate to fight for those things that are dear to you.
