Baked in the fires of Mount Doom...

This is my first One Ring cake prototype. I'm not satisfied with it yet. It looks too much like a giant doughnut (18'' in diameter). So, I will be making another prototype sometime in the next year, and posting more pictures of course.

Yes, if you look at the inscription, I did leave out the last tehta; the final u-curl. That's what happens when one hasn't a good copy editor in the kitchen.

I used it as a birthday cake, so I transliterated a whole bunch of names and wrote them around the top. I haven't come across any number writing system for Middle Earth, so I just used Arabic numerals.
