The Continued Well Being With Harmony And Peace In Our Soul!:

1. If the readers desire to have a part in the Lord's work as soul workers, it would be great for them to begin their own tract ministry by down loading our messages and send or give copies to others. What could be more important for you as an Ambassador for Christ than to support the Body of Christ in this way? The messages are already written, so why not pass them on to others? {See 2- Corinthians 5:14-21}. As to the writer's belief and doctrine, we are strictly Biblical! We adhere to no denominational beliefs unless what they teach is taken from the true Word of God and taught in the correct context. We believe that we are to be busy proclaiming the truth for the present age of grace, in view of the soon coming of our Lord.

=====================================

2. Commentary ... Concerning "Peace and Harmony with the Lord," this is what the word "Peace" means [ 1 ]: "Peace, freedom from war or hostilities. [ 2 ]: An agreement between contending parties to obstain from further hostilities. [ 3 ]: Freedom from strife or dissension. [ 4 ]: Freedom from civil commotion; public order and security: a justice of the peace. [ 5 ]: Freedom from mental disturbance: peace of mind. [ 6 ]: Make one's peace, to effect reconciliation for oneself, or for another person.

[ 7 ]: To be or become silent in a future peace such as an armistice, or a truce. [ 8 ]: Harmony, amity, calm, quite, peaceable, disposed to peace; inclined to avoid strife or dissension: peaceable intentions, peaceful: a peaceable adjustment, and "peace in well being in one's soul." Any well read Bible scholar who is a prophetic student is aware that, the end of our present age of grace is close at hand! There is no doubt that the world's nations are extremely worried because of the threatening attitude of terrorist who are infiltrating their countries. Some Governments it seems are literally about to fall apart at the seams, where has all the peace and harmony gone that mankind desires? Approximately three thousand years ago the writer of Psalms wrote of such things he stated . . .

3. { V. 26 } Scripture: "They shall perish, but you shall [remain and] endure: yes, all of them shall wax [wear out and become] old like a garment; as a vesture [clothing] shall you change them, and they shall be changed [and pass away]. { V. 27 }: But you are [and will always remain] the same, and your years shall have no end, {Psalm 102:26 -27}," Then we read ...

4. { V. 10 } Scripture: "And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands: { V. 11 }: They shall perish; but You remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment, {Hebrews 1:10-11}." [Quoting {Psalm 102:25-27} Christ is the Creator of all things and the One Who, in the midst of change, is Himself unchanging].

5. Commentary ... The above is very plain to understand. God created the earth plus all other living matter by merely uttering the commandment for it to appear. The same words tell us that the Lord can also cause the things He created to disappear just as rapidly as they first appeared. This irreversible process of the decay of created substance is rather worrisome to men of science in our present time. Now people of all classes are wondering if the earth isn't going to shortly end as many have been talking about. Naturally our Bible makes clear as we have mentioned several times in other messages, that this world will never end, but educators and even certain ministers are ignorant of what the Scriptures says about this fact. Educated scientist with so-called brilliant minds are working feverishly to identify the cause and possibly procure a remedy to avoid the soon collapse of this world. Of course, as is known, the average scientists are in an unsaved condition, and therefore, do not believe the Bible and ignore what it teaches. On the other hand:

6. { V. 11 } Scripture: "Thus says the Lord, 'the Holy One of Israel,' and his Maker [God the Father], 'Ask me of things to come' concerning my [adopted] sons, and concerning the work of my hands command you me." Commentary: [This verse has a two-fold meaning, the words "His Maker," refers to the Maker of the nation Israel which is used here in the masculine gender because "Jacob" "Israel," was the first Israelite, and made as such by God Jehovah. 0therwise Israel as a nation would have been used in the feminine gender. ] {see Genesis 32:14-28}, [ On the other hand the "Christ's Own body of flesh" was also created by the "Maker," "God the Father," so that the Christ Child as an infant could enter into it at His conception. It must be remembered that Christ was the Holy 0ne of Israel underlined in the above verse]. { V. 12 }: I [Jehovah in the O.T. is Christ in the new] and has made the earth and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens and all their host have I commanded, {Isaiah 45:11-12}."

7. Commentary ... In today's perspective the words above: "Ask me of things to come," is the right thing to ask when we inquire concerning what God's Word states about eschatology. No literature can be found other than God's Word that is equal to what it states concerning such matters. The Word of God stands extremely far beyond all other information that has been written by mere men. The spiritual power of the Word unites itself with those whom are Christians. It is the very source of the victorious power for every Christian! "Jesus was and still is" the Word in person; He was nailed to the Cross, ridiculed, mocked and declared dead. But, as all Christians are Saints, and all true Saints of God know, Jesus is still alive! Just as He arose from His tomb and ascended up into heaven, His Word has proven over and over that all its contents are true and beyond reproach. All the writers who were used to write down God's Word, and all the characters that have been mentioned in His Word are indeed witnesses of its truth. His Word states:

8. { V. 8 } Scripture: "[Yes] We are confident [and hopeful being courageous] I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. { V. 9 }: Therefore we labor [whether we are at home on earth away from Christ, or away from home and with Him, we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be well pleasing to Him so]: that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him, {2- Corinthians 5:8-9}."

9. Commentary ... Therefore God's Word is similar to a new day, it begins fresh and new in the early mornings, and very old as it disappears over the horizon as the late evening approaches and then, the whole scenario begins the following day. As we all are aware the sun brings forth light by overcoming the darkness thus outshining everything it approaches. The Word of God is like that, it outshines everything and all that ignore the Lord's Word proves only how small and puny they are. The Scriptures has in itself the central source of every remaining and eternal truth. No place exists where more reliable information concerning eschatology can be found. God's word was in force thousands of years ago and yet for us that read its pages it becomes new and forceful, the more we study it the wiser we become, and yet we are always ignorant to the ways of the supreme God Who spoke His Words in our Bible! But, through its pages we find eternal Salvation.

Eternal Peace, Harmony, And Well Being With Almighty God!:

10. Commentary ... Peaceful existence with the Lord, which many folks has evidently lost, is the highest and most exalted existence there is. Shortly after sin entered man, harmony was taken from the earth. War broke out in Adam and Eve's family and Cain slew his brother, Abel. Since then there has been no more peace. History is marked by bloodshed and tears. Yet to this day, we hear men saying, "Peace, peace! No more war!" But there has never been abiding harmony because war and strife have warred the heart of every person on this planet both in the past and in our presence. When leaders state that they have made peace it has just been a short remedy of confusion. We can summarize with one sentence the situation of mankind, "There is no peace." Thus we must investigate the origin of war and at the same time ask the question, "Can there be harmony?" The Bible states:

11. Scripture: "From where come wars and fighting among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? {James 4:1}."

12. above { V. 1 } paraphrased: "[What leads to strife, discord, feuds, quarrels, and how do conflicts with fighting originate among you? do they not arise from your sensual desires that are always warring in your bodily members]?" [War is in the minds of men thus the war threat will not be removed by demonstrations. The danger of war can only be dealt with on a spiritual level and not on a political or ideological level. What did Jesus say]?:

13. Scripture: "For out of the heart [mind] proceed evil thoughts [reasonings and disputings and designs such as:], murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies, {Matthew 15:19}." Commentary ... [Notice the first things that is mentioned comes from the evil thoughts of our minds is murder! And then all the rest ... One of the things that proceeds from our minds is war. War is the desire to do away with opponents. And naturally strife, discord, anger and continued Wickedness continue to be a never ending procedure].

While The Body Of Christ Remains On Earth - Do You Believe Peace And Harmony Is Possible?

14. Commentary ... the origin of war is in the minds of man. This being the case, as we have just seen from the Bible, a question must be ask, can a change be made? Is it possible that our minds can produce thoughts of harmony with a peaceful existence instead of more future wars? Naturally we must answer in the affirmative. If we can acquire harmony and peace with our Lord we can certainly have peace in our minds. Jesus, the Creator of all humanity, has given us the promise of better things to come and naturally peace and harmony with Him and the Father is one of these promises. As all should remember that was the meaning of the angel's message to the shepherds of old:

15. Scripture: "Glory to God in the highest [Heaven], and on earth peace, [and] good will toward men, {Luke 2:14}." Commentary ... "[with whom Christ is well pleased . . . men of good will, and are living in harmony and peace in their heart with God]," [A more accurate rendering for the words "good will toward men" would be "among men with whom He is pleased." The peace promised is not given universally to men who possess good will toward God but individually to men who are the recipients of the Lord's favor and grace. The Lord wants to restore the harmony between Himself and all humanity.. When we read history, we sense a longing for harmony amidst all the troubles and unrest, especially in Israel. In the Bible, too, we see this yearning for peace].

16. Scripture: "Lord, You will ordain peace [God's favor and blessings, temporal and spiritual ] for us: for You have [also] wrought [accomplished] all our works in us, {Isaiah 26:12}." The Prophet states:

17. Scripture: "Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me, {Isaiah 27:5}."

18. { V. 5 } above paraphrased: "Or else "[if all Israel would escape being burned up together there is but one alternative], let them take hold of My strength and make complete surrender to My protection, that they may make peace with Me! Yes, let them make peace with Me! ]" Commentary ... [Those who lived under the old Mosaic Covenant failed to have peace and harmony while under the old law like that which is available to us in this present age of grace.

19. Isaiah also stated: Scripture: "There is no peace, says the Lord, unto [for] the wicked, {Isaiah 48:22}."

20. Commentary ... Evil divides us from harmony with each other and with the Lord. Many folks are separated from each other and forced to travail from place to place, much of their time they live with stress and continually wonder what will be the final outcome of their existence. They are harassed and controlled continually by sin and the old devil. This is one reason why they do not have any harmony in their lives they allow themselves to be controlled by Satan and his demons! The prophet foresaw with prophetic clarity the One Who would bring us this missing peace and harmony through His substitutionary suffering and death on the Cross.

21. Scripture: "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement "of our pace" was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed, {Isaiah 53:5}." Read {Vs. - 54 through 56}. Commentarry ... [Concerning the passion of the Servant in these verses, though men would think that God was causing the Servant to suffer for His Own sins, the truth was, since He had no sin, He suffered vicariously for theirs, He was wounded { V. 5 } pierced, was a term appropriate to crucifixion. "Chastisement for our peace," I.e., His punishment which obtained peace or well-being for us].

22. I can tell you most assuredly that if sin robs you of peace, the punishment or chastisement of your sin was laid on Jesus at the Cross so that you can have harmony and peace with Him. Many folks are aware of this and certainly cannot honestly disagree theoretically, but it seems that they still have no harmony with the Lord, despite what has taken place at Calvary. What do you think is the reason for this? Could it be that you personally are aware of the fact that Christ shed His blood on the Cross in order to do away with all your sins? Did He give up His life so that you could have harmony and peace in your soul?

23. The true fact is, if you have NOT found Christ in your life, you really have no real harmony in your soul! Doesn't this mean that you must be in a real happy mood to feel peace and have harmony in your life? Or could it be that you need a much higher experience to acquire peace? This is really a horrible position for one to abide in! What do you suppose is the reason that a great many true Saints have not experienced the harmony and the peace of the Lord in their lives? could it be that they have not listened to the Word of God in an Assembly meeting, or perhaps haven't read God's word as they should? Listen to what the Bible states:

24. Scripture: { V. 16 }: "Come you near to Me, hear you this; I have NOT spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was [from the beginning], there am I [ I the Lord was present]: and now the [ 1 ] Lord God, and [ 2 ] His Spirit, has sent [ 3 ] Me [three in one "Trinity" ].

25. { V. 17 }: Thus says the [ 1 ] Lord, Your [ 2 ] Redeemer, the [ 3 ] Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord your God [ trinity], which teaches you to profit, which [Who] leads you by the way that you should go.

26. { V. 18 }: O [oh, Israel] that you had listened to [and obeyed] My commandments! then had Your peace [and prosperity] been as a [ flowing] river, and Your righteousness [ the holiness and purity of the nation like] as the [abundant ] waves of the sea, { Isaiah 48:16-18 }."

27. Commentary ... Even though Jehovah was talking to the nation Israel, which were under the commandments of the old Law, the same meaning in part can be applied to the Christians of today. This proves that when almighty God requires our faith in Him it means that we must also includes obedience to Him in what He has taught us. In fact, true faith is obedience. Faith means to whole heartedly accept and accomplish what He states in His Word. Faith is not a passive thing but rather active and dynamic. We must believe this because the Bible states all the facts concerning Christ Who brought forth harmony and peace to us:

28. { V. 5 }: Scripture . . . "So also Christ glorified NOT Himself to be made an high priest; but He [the Father] that said to Him, You are My Son, today have I begotten You, {a quote from Psalm 2:7} - [ "This day of Christ's coronation have I begotten You." The N.T. relates this to Christ's resurrection, see {Acts 13:33-34; Romans 1:4; - & - Hebrews 1:5}.

29. { V. 6 }: As He said also in another place, You are a priest [appointed] for ever after the order [rank] of Melchisedec, {Quoting Psalm 110:4}.

30. { V. 7 }: Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplication with strong crying and tears to Him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared.

31. [ "The above { V. 7 } paraphrased: "In the days of His flesh [Jesus] offered up definite, special petitions [for that which He not only wanted but needed], and supplications, with strong crying and tears, to the Father Who was [always] able to save Him [out] from death, and He was heard because of His reverence toward the Father and Holy Spirit His godly fear, His piety [that is, in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the glorious presence of the Father." ] - [I.e., Christ referring back to { V. 5 }, when He offered up prayers with strong crying and tears, which refers to occasions like those in {John 12:27} and the experience in Gethsemane { Matthew 26:39-44}.

32. { V. 8 }: Though he were [even though He was] a son, yet learned He [active special ] obedience by the things which He suffered;

33. { V. 9 }: And being made perfect, he became the Author of eternal salvation to all them that OBEY Him, {Hebrews 5:5-9}." 34. [The above { V. 9 } paraphrased: "And [His completed experience] making Him perfect, He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obeyed Him." See { Isaiah 45:17 }.

Jesus Being Our High Priest And Advocate - Established Harmony And Peace With The Father For Us:

35. Scripture: "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1}."

36. Commentary ... [For Paul, justification is no sterile doctrine, but a source of blessing in one's life. It's really a marvelous experience to have harmony and peace of the Lord in one's mind and life while we live on an earth that is so full of strife and hatred. If we are not Saints in Christ, harmony and peace with the Lord is impossible. He is holy and the lost of this world are on a collision course with disaster. Are you a person who has fallen short of the glory of God? Although the unbeliever has nothing in common with the Christian and the Saviour, there is always a way to be entwined in the life of Christ, and through faith this can become a reality. Those whom are Saints of God have been added to the family of the Father by merely believing in His Word and being joined to the family through faith, trust, and love].

37. If this has taken place in your life, then you have been reconciled to the Body of Christ! Therefore, you now have peace and harmony with the Lord. So, we ask again: "do you now have harmony in your life with the Lord?" The Lord is our Peace,'' according to {Ephesians 2:14}! How was this accomplished for you and I? ...

38. Scripture: "[Jesus Having canceled by ] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances [note or bond with the legal decrees and demands which was in force and ] that was against us, [hostile to us, this note] which was contrary to us, and took it [ them completely] out of the way, nailing it [them] to His cross, {Colossians 2:14}."

39. Commentary ... [The handwriting of ordinances consisted of a certificate or acknowledgment of debt in the handwriting of the debtor. The Mosaic Law [which Paul's phrase symbolizes] put everybody in debt to God with sin; and of course now we know that the Lord has canceled our debt by nailing it to His Cross, Christ has made full restitution. It was an absolute necessity for the Lord Jesus to give up His life to pay for my and your sins so that we could have harmony and peace in our lives, otherwise hell would be our eternal abode! ]

40. Scripture: "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, {Romans 5:1}."

41. Above { V. 5 } paraphrased: "Therefore, since we are justified ... acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God ... through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation] to hold and to enjoy, harmony and peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Anointed One]." Commentary: [ Faith is a wonderful mystery, and yet the word "faith," has become so commonplace that it's no longer understood. From God's point of view, everything necessary for men to have harmony and peace has been done through Jesus Christ. But you must believe! That is the triumph of faith; that is true harmony with God! Not everyone however, comes to a true genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul made clear to the Christians in Thessalonica when he stated]:

42. Scripture ... { V. 1 }: "Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified even as it is with you: { V. 2 }: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith, { 2- Thessalonians 3:1-2}."

43. Above verses paraphrased ... { V. 1 }: "Furthermore, brethren do pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed on [spread rapidly and run its course] and be glorified [extolled] and triumph, even as [ it has done] with you. { V. 2 }: And that we may be delivered from perverse [improper, unrighteous] and wicked [actively malicious] men, for not everybody has faith and is held by it [do not believe the truth]."

44. Commentary ... Why is it that all men haven't faith? It's because so many folks let themselves be easily influenced by the confuser, that is, Satan. He is the one who deceives us. He causes us to mistake feelings for faith. He separates faith from the Person of Jesus Christ. One of the most important principle to remember when interpreting Scripture is this: "When plain sense makes good sense, seek no other sense! Those who seek another sense show that they have no sense!"

45. { V. 16 } Scripture: "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction, { V. 17 }: You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness, { 2 - Peter 3:16-17}."

46. The above verses paraphrased ... { V. 16 }: "Speaking of this as he does in all of his letters. There are some things in those [epistles of Paul] that are difficult to understand, which the unlearned and unstable twist and misconstrue to their own utter destruction, just as [they distort and misinterpret ] the rest of the Scriptures. { V. 17 }: "Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present ] firm condition ... your own steadfastness [of mind]." Commentary ... [Paul's epistles are here put on a par with other Scriptures].

47. "[The word "wrest" means to twist or pervert the true meaning of the Scripture. Satan leads many teachers to twist the Word of God only to cause confusion!]" Folks often say, "Oh I believe in God!" and yet they do not know the Lord Jesus personally. This is a good example of separating faith from God's Word. Faith is continually entwined throughout the Scriptures, while feelings are strictly another matter. Whoever dares to go against his feelings and put his faith in Jesus will not be put to shame. There are countless unsaved people who have heard God's Word taught and have received a great deal of pleasure from what was taught them. They felt great in their mind from what they heard. But because of those wonderful thoughts they decided they were saved. listen carefully now: "only the faith in a personal Saviour, results in true harmony and peace with the Lord. Wonderful thoughts doesn't always save an unbeliever!" The truth is, this faith Christians have from the Word of God is a necessary ingredient for the salvation they have received through the precious blood which He has shed on the Cross for them. That type of faith must come from one's heart.

48. Scripture: "For with the heart [Mind] man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation {Romans 10:10}. Therefore, it is absolutely essential that you rely not on your feelings, but on that which is written,

49. Scripture: "For the scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed, {Romans 10:11}." See {Isaiah 28:16- & - 49:23}.

There Was No Greater Victory Since The World Was Formed - Than The Victorious Act Of Christ Triumphing Over Satan At The Cross Of Cavalry!

50. Commentary ... The word "Triumph" is used twice in the New Testament. It is used to describe the victory of Jesus as our victory in Him when He made peace with God for us with His own blood. He triumphed over the enemy on the Cross of Cavalry:

51. Scripture: "And [the Lord] having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show [a bold display and public example] of them openly, triumphing over them in it [in Himself and in the Cross], {Colossians 2:15}." - [ Spoiled: Literally striped, and disarmed as was done to enemies].

52. Commentary ... On the Cross Jesus openly triumphed over all those things. This victory is eternally valid and is indisputable. Satan and His angels and demons are defeated by Jesus Christ once and for all! Jesus is Victor! Therefore, it is foolish when we let ourselves be effected by the devil, by power of depression, suffering or unbelief, because Jesus has deprived all dark powers of their authority and strength in an open triumph. He is the author and the finisher of our faith. All who say "Yes" to Jesus also enter into His triumph even in a peaceless world.

53. Scripture: "And the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, {Philippians 4:7}."

54. Above { V. 7 } paraphrased: "And God's peace [be yours, that tranquil state of soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from the Lord and content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding, shall garrison and mount guard over your minds in Christ Jesus."

Commentary of the above verse { 7 }: "And the peace of God that is underlined in the verse, this is more than peace with God, {Romans 5:1}; it is a peace which God has and which Christ gives, see {John 14:27}. The peace of God comes to a Child of God who trusts and prays. All Christians have peace with God unless they are carnal Christians, and all Christians may have the peace of God, i.e., that inward tranquillity of soul grounded in the Lord's presence, His promise, and His power. One may have peace with God without having the peace of God. Peace of God is dependent upon faith, and peace of God is dependent upon prayer. Peace with God describes the state between God and the Christian, and the peace of God describes the condition within the Christian. The words "which passes all understanding," in other words, Which surpasses all power of human reason or comprehension, see {Ephesians 3:20}. The peace of God in the Christian will keep peace in a Christian Assembly. Scripture: "You will keep him in perfect peace [literally, peace, peace; full genuine well-being], whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You, {Isaiah 26:3}." The Christian can put everything into God's hand and let the peace of God rule in his heart [mind], {Colossians 3:15}. The words in the verse "shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus," means: "Shall keep safely and continually, garrison, stand guard as an armed sentinel."

55. Scripture: "Now thanks be unto God. which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place, { 2 - Corinthians 2:14}."

56. Commentary: "which always causes us to triumph in Christ," that is, "Better, who leads us in triumph in Christ." The picture of a Roman conqueror leading his captives in triumph. Paul gladly considered himself one of Christ's captives being led in triumph, to the glory of Christ. The word "Savour" means "fragrance;" "by us," and means through us. The above verse likely sounds strange to the unbeliever, but nevertheless it is very true, that those who are born-again of the Spirit of God have true harmony and the peace of God in their hearts. As a matter of fact we who believe even manifest, that is, we radiate, this wonderful peace into the world. We actually give this peace of God to a world which lies in unrest, turmoil, violence and war. Therefore, Christians are admonished according to God's Word to . . .

57. Scripture: "Follow peace with all men [strive to live in peace with everybody, and pursue that consecration], and holiness, without which no man shall [ever] see the Lord, {Hebrews 12:14}.

58. This informs us that all who have harmony and peace of God in their hearts should continue in everything future wise, by pursuing others who are unsaved to seek this peace and harmony by becoming Children of God. Now the question is: "what if other folks purposely wrong me, and causes me to be depressed and displeased with them?" Should this take place in your life then this troublesome problem should be given over to the will of the Lord, and God Who is the "Prince of peace" will settle the case Himself. It may take a certain length of time before you notice the results, but when things are placed in the hands of the Almighty, in His Own time He will take care of it one way or the other.

59. The Scriptures teach , that even though you are troubled by others, this is one of the outcomes that takes place in this life while we are still away from our Heavenly home! Remember, as has been stated many times this world is not the home of Christians, and as long as you remain here you will be troubled by others at certain times. The Lord will take our troubles on Himself, and eventually the peace and harmony that you had before will again be felt in your heart. Many Christians who have been troubled by others have found that in time they can actually find love in their heart for the ones who have troubled them. The thing to do is to bless and pray for those who persecute you, without having thoughts of revenge in your heart against them. Personally, "I have peace with God and, therefore, peace with my brothers and sisters. This is the triumph of faith in my life with Christ. This is peace and harmony with the Lord! If I can have this peace and contentment with Him so can you!

Peace Can Be Deceptive At Times!

60. Commentary ... For what sort of peace is the world today seeking with their demonstrations and protest marches? We see all sorts of slogans on banners. Often the Nero cross, the inverted cross, is used in these peace demonstrations. It is a deceptive peace! Although they are shouting for peace, war is raging in the heart of every one. Here is a short summary of the history of today's popular "peace sign." Erich Sauer describes the "peace sign" he says that "During the middle ages, the peace sign, as it is called today, was used and named for different purposes. It was called the witches foot, the Nero's cross, and often the Cobalt-foot. This sign has been in popular use until this very day in the occult." Bertram Russell is the one responsible for the re-creation of this sign. Russell was a determined atheist. In one of his writings, he expressed himself with these words, "I sincerely hope that every form of religious faith will die." This peace sign was propagated by him for the first time in 1958. It was during the Easter peace march in England.

61. The purpose of that particular protest march was aimed against nuclear weapons. It also propagated a one-sided disarmament of great Britain. Thousands of students marched in protest requesting Nato to unite with the communists. Bertram Russell claimed to have designed this symbol for these demonstrations. He called it the peace sign. Russell being an Atheist, at that time believed that the ultimate victory of world communism would be desirable, therefore he coined a slogan that stated, "better red than dead." His claim was, however, not correct, for he was not the creator of this so-called "peace sign;" he merely made it popular all over again. This sign can be found throughout history as a sign of expression of hate against God. It can be seen everywhere in the world today; mostly it is displayed by younger people but older folks such as the hippie's in the 1960's, and yuppie's who many of them were the so-called flower children wore it, plus others right on up to this very day also wear it.

62. There is no doubt that: this is one of the preview signs of the future Antichrist who will be the One World Ruler during the Tribulation Period. While this sign is being exhibited during demonstrations against everything people can imagine by the so-called peace groups who sometimes in various cases cause chaos. It is rather striking that this sign is not seen during demonstrations against Atheism, Abortion, Homosexuality, the Feminist movement and the ACLU. etc. ... This false peace sign was used during the middle ages as a symbol for black magic and is a sign of blasphemy against the Lord Himself. The sign actually is viewed as an upside down "counterfeit cross," and Satan obviously loves it to be displayed!

63. The truth is, there is no peace sign and no peace movements yesteryear, present time or in the future, anywhere on this earth that will ever achieve a genuine peace. In actual fact, these movements visibly share in merely showing peoples rebellion against the harmony and peace of God. A rebellion such as this within the mind of humanity also shows itself in many cases, to be against God's peace results in war. Perhaps all this is a plan by Satan to again cause the world's nations to widen a mushrooming arms race against each other. It certainly looks like he is having his way, because the world at large is spending billions of dollars to equip themselves with more arms to battle each other at this very time. Every day the news papers, radio and TV. news items portray items of chaos world wide. No doubt, the result of these shenanigans prove that people such as those mentioned above show their "lack" of having peace with the Lord.

64. What sort of peace were the philosophers in the past speaking about and seeking after? From what they have written it seems that they were all looking for the same thing, for true harmony and peace, but undoubtedly they were looking for peace without faith. The celebrated German poet, Goethe, spoke about peace when he stated: "Cultivate a worthy hobby which satisfies you in good days and uplifts you in bad days. Read daily in the Bible or in Homer, or contemplate beautiful paintings, or listen to good music. Search for something that satisfies you in every situation and under all circumstances to achieve that comfortable feeling."

65. But Mr. Goethe who was a very gifted man apparently did not find peace with God because he wrote further by stating: "When I die, write on my grave stone: "During life he had many happy experiences but real happiness he never found." This world-renowned man, could not have been more unhappy! He certainly achieved no harmony and peace with the Lord as a Christian in Christ. His last words were, "Mehr Licht!" [more light ] in other words he was stating that he wished for more knowledge which was obviously too late for him to receive. In spite of this man's intellectual abilities, he dwelt in a darkened atmosphere because he had not obtained any harmony or peace with the Lord while he was alive. This is the way some of the so-called intelligent intellectuals in many cases still seem to believe! A question I must ask those who read our messages, "Have you received harmony and peace with the Lord our God? This is one of the greatest prolific topics in our Scriptures. The Apostle Paul began all of his thirteen Epistles by stating:

66. Scripture: "Grace be to you and PEACE from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, {Galatians 1:3}."

67. Scripture: "Grace be to you and PEACE from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, { 2- Corinthians 1:2}."

58. Scripture: "Grace be unto you, and PEACE from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, {1- Corinthians 1:3}."

69. Scripture: "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be Saints: Grace to you and PEACE from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, {Romans 1:7}."

70. Scripture: "Grace be to you, and PEACE from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, {Ephesians 1:2}." See {Philippians 1:2; - Colossians 1:2; - 1- Thessalonians 1:1; - 2- Thessalonians 1:2; - 1- Timothy 1:2; - 2- Timothy 1:2; - Titus 1:4; - & - Philemon 1:3}.&qquot;

The World Is Full Of Fear And Trembling, What About You, Have You Obtained Harmony With Christ?

71. Commentary ... Ambassadors are wearing themselves out by traveling from one country to another over and over again to talk confidentially with each other about a peaceful solution between the various nations. Conferences are taking place continually to settle the cause of antagonism between terrorist organizations and the different countries. Promises are given and then later annulled, and the world situation continues to deteriorate. A catastrophic world fear has appeared on the seen that causes the nations to tremble within themselves with no permanent solution in sight. The hate program between the Muslims, and others of this world who are terrorist, gives us a view of very chaotic situations.

72. Not only in the United States but all other countries are full of fear for themselves. The Israelis are continually in deep fear for each other. Much of the prophetic scenario presented in God's Word centers on Israel and the Middle East. There is not just one battle taking place between Israel and the Palestinians, but trouble of apocalyptic proportions that is engulfing the whole world in unbelievably deadly military actions. Is there anything happening today that would lead us to conclude that those things foretold in our Bible for the last days are developing on a huge scale. With all this hatred between the different terriost organizations and the rest of the world - how are the people in the nations going to find harmony and peace with the Lord and with each other? The Middle East is bristling with weapons both state of the art conventional armaments and weapons of mass destruction. Given the explosive instability in the region and the hatred of Arab and Islamic states toward Israel, this is a formula for apocalyptic events. How are these folks ever going to find harmony and peace with each other?

73. One of the largest threats to Israel comes from the Islamic fundamentalist regime in Iran which is developing nuclear weapons. According to the Iranians themselves, they are mining their own uranium and have already acquired enough components for atomic warheads. And who knows? perhaps they have such bombs already at this very time. But, the Israeli and American intelligence really do not think so, and their sources do estimate that Iran will have an Islamic bomb in at least three or four years. Not only is Iran close to producing nuclear bombs, but they are also developing delivery systems. In the summer of 2003 Iran announced the deployment of their Shihab 3 ballistic missile which has a range of over 800 miles and is capable of hitting targets within the Israeli nation and of course, they could also target American forces in Iraq which are much closer than Israel. We certainly see no possibility of harmony or any resemblance of peace in that region. The prophet states:

74. Scripture: "For I   [ the Lord] will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the woman ravished [raped]; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city, { Zechariah 14:2}." Commentary ... [The above text has nothing to do with the present grace period. {Vs. 1-5 of Ch. 14} here is a description of one of the last battles of the Tribulation Period and Armageddon, see {Revelation 16:14}.

75. Commentary ... Well what about the Christians of today? Muslim extremists are at work in more places in the world than just in the Middle East. Most of the news regarding Muslims wantonly killing Christians and those others whom they feel are a threat to their way of life comes to us from our own news papers. And also via the major news networks and liberal press of various other war-torn countries. Muslim and Christian skirmishes are nothing new. They have been occurring since ancient times. As a matter of fact, we are told in Scripture that - that would be normal for various classes of people, and especially between Israel and the Arabs. There were two Children born from a Hebrew Lady by the name of Rebekah. The names of the twins were Jacob and Esau. The Bible states concerning these two babies:

76. Scripture: "And the Lord said unto her, [the founders of:] Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of [the two] people shall be separated from your bowels [body]; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger, {Genesis 25:23}." Later we find where this led, we read: Scripture: "And Esau [the first of the twins born] hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart [mind], the days of mourning for my father are at hand [very near, when he is gone]; then will I slay my brother Jacob, {Genesis 27:41}." Commentary ... [Esau, the father of the Palestinian Arab Muslims whom were originally named Edomites, plus many other Muslims and Arabs, and "Jacob who is a type of the combined Hebrew nation" are still at war with each other today. When Arabs and Muslims are not fighting other folks, they fight each other. There is no harmony or peace between themselves, with other races, or with the Lord]. This brings to mind what Jesus said:

77. Commentary ... The greatest sickness today is fear. Most people are psychologically sick because of fear. That is the result of not having harmony and peace with God. There is fear of war, fear of some invasion from other nations., Fear of a nuclear catastrophe, fear of terroristic involvement in all nations. And, fear of too many other things that never even takes place. But there is only one place of safety, "Safe in the arms of Jesus." Harmony and peace with Jesus is the only place of absolute safety and security. It is with the Person, the crucified, Resurrected and soon- returning Lord. that is the only genuine safety and assurance, that is peace of the heart [mind], which is so real and so wonderful that Scripture says it passes all understanding. If you are fearful of today or of the future, then your fear is legitimate, because Jesus said: Scripture: "Men's hearts [minds] failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of Heaven shall be shaken, {Luke 21:26}."

78. Commentary ... What is it that humanity really fears? They sense that there is something in the air. Some talk of a world catastrophe; other say a breakdown of the universe; others fear a collision of the planets. Even reliable and respectable scientists today predict a possible cosmic catastrophe. There is much mathematical calculation going on about the appearing of various comets in the near future which possible might collide with this planet. Do you know the deepest reason for man's fear, even though he cannot define it? It is the shaking of the powers of heaven, because as the above text states it : "when the Son of Man appears in power and great glory, then the powers of heaven will be shaken. The Bible speaks about this time and identifies it as the return of Jesus Christ which will take place at the end of the great Tribulation Period. All men who live in rebellion against God do not have the peace of God in their hearts and for that they are trembling, whether they realize it or not. But, Saints: the Children of God, rejoice because they have already experienced these powers of heaven.

There Is Great Power That Will Be Displayed When Jesus Raptures His Saints!

79. Commentary: Although the powers of Heaven are hidden from the physical eye, they have been confirmed by millions and millions of those who believe in the power of Jesus Christ. For Saints of God it has been an indisputable reality for almost 2,000 years, that is, the dying and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This unlimited power of God is described for us as follows:

80. { V. 18 } . . . Scripture: "The eyes of your [mind and your] understanding being [flooded in] enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling [to all Saints and what this really consist of], and what the riches of the glory [of Christ pertains to - along with the marvelous greatness] of His inheritance in the Saints, [ A two-fold inheritance the Lord's and ours].

81. { V. 19 }: And [so that you can known and understand] what is the exceeding [and immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing] greatness of His power to [in and for] us-ward who believe [as demonstrated], according to the working of His mighty power,

82. { V. 20 }: Which he wrought [produced] in Christ, when He [ the Father] raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His Own right hand in the heavenly places,

83. { V. 21 }: Far above all principality [rule and authority], and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, [above every title that can be conferred] not only in this world [age 'Greek' ] but also in that [new world age] which is to come:

84. { V. 22 }: And [the Father] has put all things under His feet, and [has] gave [and appointed] Him [Christ] to be [the universal and supreme] head over all things to the Body of Christ [Ekklesia 'Greek' ]. [Jesus which is the Head as expressed throughout the Lord's Body in all its completeness],

85. { V. 23 }: Which is His Body the fulness of Him that fills all in all, [for in that Body lives the full measure of Jesus Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself], {Ephesians 1:19-23}."

86. Commentary ... "From { V.18 }: [The words "Of your understanding," "literally means the understanding deeply entrenched in your mind," in the text this is considered as the very center and core of your life. { V. 20 }: "At His Own right hand," one should read {Psalm 110:1}. The right hand is a figure for the place of honor and sovereign power. { V. 21 }: "Principality, and power, and might, and dominion." These words as we have mentioned elsewhere, were in rabbinic thought of that time period described the different orders of angels. These various powers mentioned in { V. 19 etc. } were set free through the Lord Jesus Christ when God raised Him from the dead], as the above verses state: "... the exceeding greatness of His power ... which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His Own right hand in heavenly places. That is another reason why Children of God have peace with the Lord. These powers are a hidden reality in our lives. The powers of Heaven broke through the earth with the resurrection of our Saviour Christ Jesus.

Through The Christians Faith Is Found A Colossal Power Bestowed By The Lord!

87. Commentary: One might ask: "Concerning all these God given Heavenly powers, what will be the end result?" Answer: Harmony with the Lord and eternal peace for all God's Children who believe. And, belief in the Creator's power to fulfill His prophetic promises that will institute the destruction of all those nations that have followed Satan in rebelling against their Maker and His Word. This will bring forth an everlasting unbelievable power to those believing Saints that is impossible for any human on this earth today to comprehend." Presently through believing and placing our life in the hands of the Lord Jesus, we already have a wonderful harmony and a colossal peace with Almighty God. Again we must emphasize so that it will not be misunderstood that: "We are saved by faith in the Lord Jesus, faith in the fact that He died paying the price for our sins, and that He arose again from His tomb, and a short time afterwards He ascended back to the Father Whom had sent Him down to this earth in the first place. Jesus returned back to Heaven to dwell at the Father's right hand for at least two millenniums. It is Jesus alone in Whom we must place our faith and accept as our Lord and Saviour and no other! Jesus is the "Christ - the power of God, and the wisdom of God, {1- Corinthians 1:24}."

88. The question is, do you have power in your faith? Are you, in actual fact, lonely and perhaps fail to have peace and harmony in your heart? Could the reason be that your faith is not genuine, could it be that you have been lying to yourself and telling yourself that you have salvation until this very moment? Could it be that your belief is not centered on the Person, Jesus Christ and that your faith is tuned in to worldly pleasures and other things instead of in Jesus? Read about all the great heroes of faith in God's Word. Their faith was related to and not separate from the Lord Himself. Scripture states concerning a lady who was ninety years of age:

89. Scripture: "through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him faithful Who had promised, {Hebrews 11:11}.

90. The above verse paraphrased: "[Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age of child bearing, because she considered Jehovah Who had given her the promise, reliable and trust worthy and true to His Word], see {Genesis 17:19; - 18:11- 14; -- & - 21:2}.

91. Commentary: "She didn't receive great strength and genuine faith in or through worldly endeavors, but she had faith in Jehovah God. Even though she had considered the fact that she was an old lady, Sara had peace with God and had placed herself in His Hands to fulfill His Own will. She believed in her heart that what God had promised He could also fulfill. Could it be that this is a good picture of yourself and what kind of faith you should have? Notice that this power which leads to harmony and peace with the Lord is called, "exceedingly great, {Ephesians 1:19}.

92. Scripture: "Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the words of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high, {Hebrews 1:3}.

93. The above { V. 3 } paraphrased: "[Christ Who is the sole expression of the glory of the triune God ... and He is the center of all creation and is fully Divine ... He is the perfect imprint and very image of God's nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty Word of power. When He had [by offering Himself] accomplished our cleansing of sin and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the Divine Majesty on high]."

94. Commentary ... Brightness: effulgence or flood of resplendent light or radiance. The word means an outshining, not a reflection, the express image of His person. Literally., the exact representation of God's essence or nature. These expressions in { V. 3 } above are strong assertions of the deity of Christ. "sat down on ( at ) the right hand of the Majesty on high." This is a picture of Jesus seated indicating the finished character of His once and for all sacrifice for sin

Hebrews 10:10, 12}, and the right hand indicates the place of honor which He occupies. [How great must be the strength Jesus has to poor out upon His Creation! He upholds all things. Since Christ upholds all things by the Word of His Divine power, and since you are part of His creation - this means that this includes you." Do you see from this the immeasurable power of the Word of God?

The Mighty Power Through Christ's Word, That is Why Jesus Said:

95. Scripture: "It is the spirit that quickens [gives life, He is the life giver]; the flesh profits nothing [i.e., is of no account, the flesh conveys no benefit whatever]: the words [of truth] that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life, {John 6:63}." [Do you remember what Isaiah said?]:

96. Scripture: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, "{Isaiah 9:6}."

97. Commentary: Messiah was to come as a baby Who is born as a gift from God the Father to be a ruler {Luke 1:31-33}. His perfections are described as follows: "Wonderful Counsellor." - "Wonderful" regularly means supernatural, see {Judges 13:18; secret - wonderful ], so the phrase refers to Messiah as the supernatural Counsellor Who, at His first coming, brought words of eternal life, and Who, when He returns again, will rule with perfect wisdom {Isaiah 11:12}. "The mighty God," is a term applied to "Yahweh, the Lord ," also see {Deuteronomy 10:17; - Isaiah 10:21; - & - Jeremiah 32:18}, and which predicts the ultimate victory of Messiah over evil.

98. "The everlasting Father in { V. 6 } above," literally means "Father of eternity;" i.e., Messiah is eternally a Father to His people, guarding, supplying and caring for their needs. "The prince of Peace," the One Who brings peace in the fullest sense of wholeness, prosperity, and tranquillity. Individuals can now know His peace {Ephesians 2:13-18}, and one day the world will experience it as well {Isaiah 2:4}. Also the above { V. 6 } proves that He is so mighty that He only needs a single shoulder to carry the entire universe and everything in it which He has created! And, He performs all this as the good Shepherd when finding His lost sheep. Folks should not count sheep when trying to go to sleep, but they should only look to their shepherd! ]. [The Bible states:

98. Scripture: "And when He has found it, he laid it on His [own] shoulders, rejoicing, {Luke 15:5}." [Now He uses both of His shoulders! He uses His entire strength for you and me]."

99. Scripture: "And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar [white] hairs [of old age] will I carry you: I have made, and will bear; even will I carry, and will deliver [save] you, {Isaiah 46:4}."

100. Commentary: He carries all of us, every single child of God that belongs to Him, each with all their burdens. But does every Christian have the harmony and peace they should have? That is definitely possible for all Saints to have this harmony and peace with the Lord. But it is often according to the circumstances that take place in our lives. There are certain things in ones life that can rob the Saint of his peace when he fails to believe and trust the Lord in all things. I can assure you, my friends, that if I had to carry the burden of a larger ministry and everything that would lay upon my shoulders - it would be very difficult to perform my duties . but one thing we can all thank the Lord about is that He will always carry our burdens for us! It has been proven by the Lord's Own Words to us, and yes, even in us that the power of eternal life through our Saviour Jesus Christ has been gives us freely without any cost to us, and this is the harmony and peace that we all have with God if we will only contend with the faith.

101. { V. 14 } . . . Scripture: "For it is evident [obvious] that our Lord sprang out of [the tribe of] Juda; of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning [priest or a] priesthood [in connection to that tribe]. { V. 15 }: And it is yet far more [and plainly] evident [obvious]: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there arose another priest, [Who bore the likeness of Melchisedec]. See {Psalm 110:4}. { V. 16 }: Who is made [constituted a priest ], not after the law of a carnal commandment [that is, not on the basis of a bodily legal requirement ... an externally imposed command concerning His physical ancestry] but [on the bases and:] after the POWER OF AN ENDLESS [and indestructible] LIFE, {Hebrews 7:14-16}."

Commentary: We are continually being rushed and agitated. We speak of progress, but the truth is we are striding away from the harmony and peace of God and no linger know what it is to rest in His presence. If you will accept the Lord, Who:

102. Scripture: ". . . is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, Who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, { 2 - Timothy 1:10},"

103. Above { V. 10 } paraphrased: "[It is that purpose and grace] which He now has made known and has fully disclosed and made real [ to us] through appearing of our Saviour Christ Jesus Who annulled death and made it of no effect, and brought life and immortality, that is, immunity from eternal death [deathlessness, imperishability] ... to understanding through the Gospel ]."

104. Commentary ... [And then, you will find harmony with God. You need to take hold of peace with God by taking hold of eternal life! You may ask: How can I do that? How can I receive eternal life? The answer: Jesus Christ Himself has made harmony and peace available through His blood on the Cross. There just isn't any other way. Yet we hear the Lord's Own words of sorrow when we continue reading]:

There Is Only One Way To Appropriate True Peace And Harmony In Your Future:

105. { V. 17 } Scripture: "And the way of peace have they not known [they have no experience of the way of peace ... they know nothing about peace, for a peaceful way they do not even recognize.] See {Isaiah 59:7-8}. { V. 18 }: There is no [reverential] fear of God before their eyes, {Romans 3:17-18}." See {Psalm 36:1}.

106. Commentary: [Transgression, rather than God, is viewed as speaking within the heart of a wicked man who regards it as an oracle (a divine utterance), assuring him that he need have no fear of God]. The average person fails to understand the way of peace. How can one accomplish this harmony and peace? As we have stated before: The answer is given by the Lord Himself.

107. Scripture: "Jesus said to him [Thomas] I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by [and through] Me, {John 14:6}." Commentary ... People ask all sorts of ways to find peace and happiness, can we find it by self-hypnosis, yoga, drugs, Fortune tellers, Witch craft, Astrology, Alcohol, Tobacco, etc. Even many Christians have to acknowledge that deep down they are still inconsistent and changeable. This is what it is like when your life is not on the firm foundation. Peace and harmony come through building on the firm foundation.

108. Whatever works are done on a changing foundation will have no lasting value. Many folks have no peace with God and have a rough time throughout their lives. They continually miss their ultimate goal, the Living God. They miss a godly association with the Lord. Most folks, whether in or outside the Body of Christ, long for something outside of themselves in which their roots can come to rest, but are usually satisfied by things that produce temporary feelings. But this is not what we want. We want to enter that rest that God gives to His people as is foretold in the next text . . . ,

109. { V. 9 } Scripture: "There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. { V. 10 }: For he that is entered into His rest, he also has ceased from his own works as God did from His. See {Genesis 2:2}. { V. 11 }: Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. { V. 12 }: For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart [mind]. { V. 13 }: Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eye of Him with Whom we have to do, {Hebrews 4:9-13}."

110. The above five verses paraphrased ... "{ V. 9 }: ["So then, there is still awaiting a full and complete sabbath rest reserved for the true people of God. { V. 10 }: For he who has once entered into God's rest also has ceased from the weariness and pain of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His Own. See {Genesis 2:2}. { V. 11 }: Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter into that rest [of God] to know and experience it for ourselves ... that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness while traveling from Egypt fell].

111. { V. 12 }: For the [inspired] Word that God speaks - is alive and full of power ... [literally, living and operative, it has the power to reach to the innermost parts of one's personality and discern ( judge) the innermost thoughts] it is active, energizing, effective and sharper than any twoedged sword, penetrating even to the dividing line of the breath of life [soul ] and [the immortal ] spirit, and of joints and marrow [that is, of the deepest parts of our nature] exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart [mind]. { V. 13 }: Neither is there any creature in existence that is concealed from God's sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do, {Hebrews 4:9-13}."

112. Commentary: How often folks try to hide their restlessness in excessive work, sports and other activities. Some do accomplish impressive positions. Some achieve great honor. Others accumulate great riches. But one thing is lacking: true harmony and peace of mind. The Lord warns against success as a camouflage for security.

113. Scripture: "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul [ life]? [referring to his life that is blessed in the Heavenly Kingdom of God] or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul [ life]? [meaning in exchange for his life that would otherwise be blessed in the Lord's Kingdom], {Matthew 16:26}." Commentary: [ There are many ideals of man which may be impressive and sound wonderful but there is only one way to achieve harmony and peace, if I may repeat it again, "That is the peace with God through Jesus Christ. All other avenues which men seeks to achieve peace with God come under the judgment."

God's Word Warns The People And The Nations Of A Peace And So-Called Harmony That Is False!

114. Scripture: "For our God is [indeed] a consuming fire, {Hebrews 12:29}. Commentary: A renowned philosopher once said: "The simplest way to attain the undefeatable position is to begin searching for the unending sources of power and using the same instantly as one desires. I must continue to shine like a spotlight being connected to an inexhaustible power source, to oppose any attack, Any attempt, which could cause disharmony with myself. This source of power is available here and now. Our true self is one with the life of God. That means infinite life and infinite power stands behind us. We only need to open the inner door to permit this power to flood our life and soul. living in the recognition of truth brings peace, rich, remaining peace, which fulfills all of the present and future and gives us the assurance that we will remain strong as long as we live."

115. The way to peace without the Prince of peace will end tragically. Man attempts to find another way of reaching inner harmony within himself; that is, he wants to be at rest with himself. He wants to reach the unreachable. He desires a never- ending source of strength, but all of those philosophies and attempts fail and will not lead to peace, but to utter desperation and eternal destruction. There are some who have recognized the inexhaustible source of joy and life in the living God from Christian teaching, but simply come to false conclusions. They simply resign and state, "It is impossible for me to come to God because I have sinned too much in the past therefore, because of what I have done God would not accept me." Others think that because God and man are so far apart, purely character-wise, there is no point in trying to reach Him. They resign themselves to what they consider to be unreachable. Such lost folks are weak-willed and salvation they believe is impossible for them, so they remain on this low level until someone reaches out to them with God's Word. Too often, such people are open to a false peace which is presented on a logical level.

116. Let us understand what our 'position' really is. No - [ 1 ]: "There are untold countless things, including "harmony, peace and eternal salvation," and with these there are many other possibilities which are within our reach through God's power." No, -

[ 2 ]: "Countless things are likewise unattainable without the power mentioned above." One thing stands within our power: namely the decision to desire certain things or to have no desire whatsoever to receive anything that might be of importance. Nothing can hinder us to desire deep down in our minds the things which we covet. There is very little that we might achieve in our own power, health wise, property wise, or honor and career wise. Thus we must draw a line between these various areas and observe only those things which are within our power, everything else is foreign. - - -

117. From position No - [ 1] above, nothing can disturb our salvation, harmony and peace. Another way to look at all of this, and think about is the following: If your are a Christian and your only child dies, or the doctor confirms that you have cancer, your business is on the verge of bankruptcy, you are about to lose your important job, what ever comes your way over which you have no control, and then you simply state, "all of this does not bother me, Nobody has taken anything from me. I am merely relinquishing everything and returning all of it back to God where I acquired them." Every discomfort, every disturbing incident of our mental balance originates with the power that we have failed to receive because it is the will of God in our lives that really control our destiny. Therefore, we should act as if everything that the Lord wills is within our power to have and accomplish.

When The Time Comes For Leaving This Earth In Death - What Then?

118. Commentary: A certain man, who was a writer and known for his anti-God mockery, did find peace at the end of his life through the Lord Jesus Christ. In one of his last poems, he wrote at the end: "When one lies on the deathbed, he becomes very sensitive and would like to make peace with God and the world. Because I myself am at the mercy of God, I have forgiven all of my adversaries. All my writings and poems that only had the slightest indication of any opposition against God, I have taken fearfully and burned them in the fire. It is better for these papers to burn than for him who wrote them. Yes I have made peace with my Creator, to the greatest offense of my 'enlightened' friends who accused me of backsliding into superstition, as they prefer to call my returning home to God. But I have returned to God like the prodigal son. For too long, I have fed the swine of the "enlightened society." Now, homesickness for heaven has overcome me, in the theological level, I have to confess to becoming a backslider: I have slidden back to a personal God!"

119. It is important to point out here that "not" every one will have the chance to find this harmony and grace at the time of their death, to find the truth about Jesus in his final moments. For that reason, the Word of God admonishes us: it even warns us so very seriously, Scripture: "Seek [inquire for and require] you [of] the Lord while He may be found, call you upon Him while He is near [call upon Him because of necessity for salvation and by right to do so; while He is at hand], {Isaiah 55:6}."

Therefore, The Right Way For The Christian Walk Is The Bible Way!

120. Commentary: God judges very harshly every human psychological or religious way seeking peace other than the way of His Son, Jesus Christ. The older folks becomes in age "the more hard hearted they become." This is why most older people stubbornly fail to repent and believe that God would save them. They believe that they have been so mean, so unworthy of salvation because of what sinful things they have been guilty of in the past, that surely a gracious God would not forgive and save them. Some have been so hard hearted before their friends in past years that they are actually ashamed to change their life stile and become Christians! It is as if they are ashamed to be like a person who calls himself a Child of God, as if it is demeaning to become such! After all, Christians are like sissies, they are not near as rough and tough as the person who remains unsaved! Many people who are in a lost condition believe that they can never have any more fun if they accept Christ as Saviour because they will have to give up their bad habits after being saved, and can have no more good times. Folks like we have mentioned above are usually like all the rest of the unbelievers world wide, they do not know the way of peace. God said through the prophet:

121. Scripture: "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord has laid in [and on] Him [Jesus the guilt and ] the iniquity of us all, {Isaiah 53:6}."

122. { V. 21 } Scripture: "For even hereunto were you called: [it is inseparable from your vocation] because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us as an [His personal] example, that you should follow [on in] His steps:

123. { V. 22 }: Who [was not guilty of any sins because He] did no sin, neither was guile [deceit ever] found in His mouth: see {Isaiah 53:9}.

124. { V. 23 }: Who, when He was reviled [and insulted], reviled not again [that is, He did not revile or return insults]; when he [was abused and] suffered, He threatened not [He did not threatened any vengeance in return]; but committed [ trusted] Himself [and everything] to Him that judges righteously:

125. { V. 24 }: Who His Own-self [personally] bare our sins in His Own body on the tree [as to an altar and offered Himself as a sacrifice in order], that we, being dead to sin [ that our sins might cease to exist and that we ] should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes [wounds] you were healed, {1- Peter 2:21-24}." Scripture: "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions [sins] from us, {Psalm 103:12}."

126. Commentary: You see [The Lord condemns our own selfish ways, but how thankful we are that this is not the final word, Jesus is the sin-bearer of the world, and He is the only way God has accepted. It is God's Own way for you, just remember one thing - no matter what you have done in the past, if you will obey the Lord and place yourself in His hands you can be accepted by Him as one of His Children which is followed by eternal peace in an eternal Heaven along with all the rest of God's adopted Children! If you are uneasy about yourself, if you recognize your own sinful nature and condition, and if you are not ashamed of Jesus Christ, then surrender yourself to Him Who carries the sins of the world on His Own shoulders as your Saviour and high Priest. Then indeed you will experience the fact, and we repeat this verse, Scripture: "And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, {Phillippians 4:7}. Commentary: There isn't any other way. All other ways are our own ways. They are condemnable. They lead to destruction, to eternal darkness. Choose today this is the only way to true harmony and peace of mind.

What About The Peace And Harmony In The Entire World?

127. In { V. 2 } the prophet stated ... Scripture: "And it shall come to pass "in the last days," that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be [firmly] established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. { V. 3 }: And many people shall go [come] and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Law [of instruction], and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. { V. 4 }: And He [Christ the Messiah] shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke [decide disputes for] many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more, {Isaiah 2:2-4}." [Peace from now on].

128. Commentary: "In these verses concerning the future, the world is now transported into the messianic age when the Holy City shall be the center of the earth and all nations shall come to it to learn the ways of God. It should be noted that this universal emphasis will not be fulfilled in the days of Israel's earthly Kingdom that transpired before the beginning of the Body of Christ. Nor was the text speaking of that which has taken place during the present grace period. This whole scenario is a prediction that concerns Israel and the nations in the "last days following the literal return of Messiah to this earth, {Acts 1: 9-11; - & - Zechariah 14:4}. This points our attention to the Millennial future when Israel's Kingdom shall become a reality only during the time when the messiah shall rule after the Body of Christ age. The mountain of the Lord's house refers to Mount Zion, formerly known as Mount Moriah, on which the various temples of Israel were built. In Isaiah's day, the Temple of Solomon was still standing.

129. The implication of this passage is that in the Millennial Kingdom there will once again be a Temple in Jerusalem which shall serve as the focal point of the worship of the Messiah Lord Jesus during His Kingdom rule on the earth. Christ's Kingdom is pictured to be exalted above the hills, i.e., the Kingdom of this world. The nations referred to in { V. 4 } consist of Christian nations because only saved Believers will be aloud to enter into the earthly Millennial reign of Christ after He sets up His Millennial Kingdom on this earth! Remember this, a person remains a Gentile until he becomes a Christian. Gentiles during this present age are NOT saved Believers! "Spiritually speaking," once folks are saved, as we have explained elsewhere, they become Christians, and race distinctions for Children of God have disappeared as far as the Body of Christ is concerned. See {Colossians 3:11}. Concerning the races, there are three types of people on this earth, the Jews, the Gentiles and the Body of Christ. Once Jews or Gentiles are saved they become Saints of God, and we repeat, after becoming Saints, their bodies of flesh remain "only as Jew, German, French, Greek, etc by race," but their souls [Their very inner being, the part of them that is alive ], are Children of God! Study the following verses!

=========================

130. {V. 11} Scripture: "Where there is neither Greek [Gentile] nor Jew, circumcision nor un-circumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. { V. 12 }: Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering, {Colossians 3:11-12}."

=========================

131. The above two verses paraphrased, { V. 11 }: "[In the new creation, all distinctions vanish]; there is no room for and there can be neither Greek [Gentile] nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, ( nor difference between nations whether alien ) Barbarians or Scythians (who have been the most savage of all ), nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all ... everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person. { V. 12 }: Cloth yourselves therefore, (as the Lord's picked Ambassadors, His chosen representatives), who are purified and holy and well-beloved (by the Lord Himself, by putting on behavior marked by ) tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, (and) patience ... which is tireless, long-suffering and has the power to endure whatever comes, with no anger]."

=========================

132. Now we are one Body of Heavenly origin and Heaven is our Home, we Saints of God are now classified as pilgrims sojourning in a strange land, and must remain here until Raptured up to our home in Heaven! The student must understand that as Members of the Body of Christ, there are NO race destinations for us. And, we repeat: we belong to a far away place called Paradise in the Heavenly Kingdom. This earth is NOT our home, and this is why we are no longer classified as Hebrew or Gentiles! When Christ rules on this earth He will rule with a rod of iron as a judge among the nations. See {Revelation 2:27}, and He shall compel all nations to practice justice toward one another. This will be a time of complete international PEACE, HARMONY and safety unlike any other time in the history of the world. To try to apply the above passage to the present age is ridiculous. Notice that Christ Himself is pictured as the judge [Greek 'shaphat ' ] Who shall discern and direct the affairs of all nations at that time, and all war material will be turned into tools of peace and economic productivity. Therefore, there will be no world peace on earth no matter what the politicians and others teach until the return of Christ back to the earth to personally reign as a world ruler!

133. Dear reader, be honest with yourself. Ask yourself the question: What or who rules me? Is it fear, jealously, hate, wrath, evil thoughts? Do you have to admit that evil desires rule your heart, and ignore the worries and the guilt which threaten to destroy you? You know, it is really true. You are a poor sinner! There is no need to hide behind your Christian Assembly, or your traditional Denominationalism, for Satan himself does not mind at all if you remain an Assembly member in good standing but without a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. One thing the enemy does not want: namely, the fulfillment of the Scripture such as Paul stated ... Scripture: "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts [minds], to the which also you are called in one Body; and be you thankful, {Colossians 3:15}," Commentary: Because, whenever the peace of the Lord rules in your mind and life then you have been liberated from all resignation, from all the complication of your own created philosophies, and you are free to serve a living and soon-returning Saviour. Then the dynamic power of God becomes effective in your life. It is the harmony and peace of your Liberator with all its unlimited power that will enable you to live a life purposefully for Him, Because your entire life will then be aimed at God.

134. In order to be positive of your own Salvation, we would ask you to "Please" read and pray the following prayer and if you really believe and accept in your heart [mind] what you have read and have spoken these words in this prayer with a contrite mind to God the Father, you will have become a Child of the living God!

The Sinners Prayer:

135. Heavenly Father, I know that I'm a lost sinner and that I cannot save myself by good works. I believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son Who came down from Heaven and took on a human body of flesh and was born of the Virgin Mary. I believe that Jesus shed His blood on the Cross of Calvary and died paying the price for my sins with His death so that I can receive salvation because and through His sacrifice. I believe that after Christ's sacrifice and death, He arose from the tomb after three literal days and nights. That Jesus ascended into the third Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father. I believe that Jesus will return for all Saints who belong to the Body of Christ in the Resurrection [Rapture, 'Rapere' ] according to His own promise! I know that I have been up to this time a lost sinner and deserved to go to hell. So I beseech you Heavenly Father, send your Holy Spirit at this very moment into my Heart and save me for Jesus Christ sake as has been promised me by Your Holy Word. I am receiving Jesus Christ at this very moment as my personal Saviour, my Lord and as my only blessed hope for salvation. Thank You Lord for now I am saved by Your wonderful grace. Amen!

136. Scripture { V. 16 }: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. { V. 17 }: For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved, {John 3:16-17}."

=========================

137. Scripture - { V. 8 }: "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God... { V. 9 }: Not of works, lest any man should boast, - {Ephesians 2:8-9}."

=========================

138. Scripture { V. 9 }: "But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him, { V. 10 }: But God has revealed them to us by His [Holy] Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God, {1- Corinthians 2:9-10}."

=========================

139. Today, do not postpone your decision for Jesus Christ. Remember, it may be indeed too late tomorrow. Make use of it today, because if you really want the harmony and peace of the Lord in your heart, then you must prepare now. There must be a change of authority in your mind and that change will determine eternity. To put it briefly, you either will spend eternity in everlasting, never-ending punishment or in never-ending eternal glory with your Lord.
