Welcome to my 4th of July page.
I do not have a poem for this holiday
instead, just some thoughts I have.
Most people, I believe tend to forget
why we celebrate this day.
It's not just an extra day off
a time for parades and picinics
We celebrate the 4th of July
in honor of those men
who fought for our freedom
for our right to choose to
to do as we like
(within reason)
The 4th of July
is set aside to remember
the day the day
the US became a free nation.
