The Upper Hudson Lower Brass is a Tuba ensemble made up of Tuba and Euphonium players from The Coxsackie-Athens Community Band. Ann Clapper has been it's Music Director since its inception in 1985. David Clapper is the performance Conductor.

The Group originally formed to play during the Christmas Holiday Season, but now is active throughout the School year. They have performed at the Athens, NY, Victorian Christmas celebrations for many years, the Hudson, NY, Winter Walk for the past two years, as guest performers with the Rip Van Winkle Brass Quintet at Columbia Greene Community College, and for many service organizations and retirement homes.
