This site has been tested and is known to work with both Netscape and Microsoft Browsers on both Windows 95/3.1 and Macintosh Computers. However, some small gliches have occured. The known ones are listed here. Please e-mail us if you encounter any problems. Include the name and version number of the browser along with your operating system and what you were trying to do when the error occured. Please note, due to unique computer configuations not everyone may experience the same problems.
NETSCAPE 4.05
Towards the end of the homepage (index.html), the text becomes underlined. We don't know what causes this, but it is harmless and doesn't do anything.
NETSCAPE 4.05 AND 3.02
On the searchpage (searchpage.htm), there are search capabilities for Border's and Barnes and Noble booksellers. These features work fine with Microsoft Internet Explorer, but will not work with Netscape. We are currently working to fix this. Please ignore the garbled text you will see of the site if you are using Netscape. The rest of the page works fine.
NETSCAPE ON MACINTOSH COMPUTER'S
The ticker on the main page of the web site does not work on Macs. instead of seeing the information, all you will see is scrolling static. We don't know what causes this, but hope the author will be able to fix this soon.
NETSCAPE 2.0 ON A WINDOWS 3.1 COMPUTER
The Web site won't load! You will receive a bogus javascript error, and the site will stop loading.
INTERNET EXPLORER 3.0 ON A WINDOWS 95 COMPUTER
On the homepage, the black and white thinker picture has a black field covering the bottom third of the picture. This is the only picture that suffers from this problem.
