NY - The Mets, after the greatest catch in the history of baseball, lost to the Cards tonight, sending Beckett's dads team to the world series. Beckett's dad was such a big fan he went to play indoor soccer during the game. Indoor soccer, who is he, Shep Messing? Indoor soccer folded a long time ago. That being said, I am glad Beckett's dad is trying to stay in shape and set an example.

Berkeley - Beckett Carson Silzle was born about two months ago, I forget the date because the Mets just lost. Beckett could have witnessed a miracle mets win but now he is stuck with the Cardinals.

This is an abbreviated short random edition of The Hudsonian. Tonight when the Mets lost I received many calls in sorrow hoping I was ok, even my brother called. Though, he usually calls on Thursdays to tell me of some great goal he scored playing indoor soccer. Yes, the Albino and Pujols lover play on the same indoor soccer team, I don't think they have any wins.

Chris, Dad, Matt and I weigh in each Monday in an effort to stay in shape. The albino weighs 185 and is close to having an eating disorder. Matt loves his wine and I love my Bud Light so we are struggling to get down to our desired weights. Jimbo Hudson swims for an hour then has a few manhattans, these are all strict training regimens and are not meant to be tried at home.

I have an nfl football pool, Joe Hudson won one week and he and Carlin are among the leaders. When I asked Joe how he won he said, " I know how to pick things". Sad when you are 38 and your neice and nephew are smarter and better looking than you already.
