GPPA is the major professional organization for psychologists in the tri-state region. With over 300 psychologists, GPPA provides a network for academic and practicing psychologists and a resource for the community. New members are always welcome.

OUR RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• Continuing education in areas such as personality disorders, cognitive therapy, Jungian psychology, marital & family mediation, and training in child custody evaluation.
• Full day conference with Art Kovacs, Ph.D.
• Liason with American Red Cross for disaster response training and treatment at disaster sites.
• Conferences with managed care companies to claridy needs of consumers and psychologists.
• Meetings with state and national legislators.
• Published guidelines for child custody evaluations.
• Workshop on risk management, record keeping, etc. with APAIT.
