OK kids... the below set of words is SO OLD and I really don't want to go through the trouble of revising it... So read it and know that this was done in like... 1997 or something OK? Maybe one day I'll update it...then again, maybe not. For up to date stuff check the Blogger page.
I'm glad you want to meet Astrid, she's a pretty fun chick.
She has made many new friends since webtv started the chat
room. Just take a look in the guestbook to get a small
sample of her friends. As you are browsing the guestbook
you may notice that some people mention this girl "Pattie",
I have no idea who they are talking about...well ok maybe I
do, she is who I am when I am in the "real world".
Many people ask "Why Astrid?" To which I answer, "Astrid
is a cool name. I like the sound of it." But also it is
because Astrid strikes me as the girl you knew in school
who was hated by the "cheerleader types" the girl who
dressed all in black with black dyed hair and wore white
face makeup and red red lipstick. She's the girl who wasn't
afraid to do what she wanted to do, to be what she was. She
wasn't following any trends. She is the girl I wished I
could be in high school. She is the girl I have become
today. Although my hair isn't black and my face isn't done
up in white makeup. I am more her in the sense that I
really don't care what people think about me.
I live in the Chicago area. I am in my late 20's. I'm a
college graduate with a major in radio broadcasting and a
minor in fiction writing. I no longer work in radio tho.
I'm currently employed at an advertsing and PR firm. Dull
work but fun people and lots of free stuff (as well as an
awesome computer to play with all day).

tedious and I stopped after a while! Tee hee!
Well that
is about all I feel like typing about myself for now. I'm praying to the
computer gods every day for more knowledge of HTML and how
to get cool graphics and pictures on a page using only
webtv (ok yes I will also be using my computer at work but
shhhh... not so loud or my boss will hear!).
