Why, a Dragoncat - Felix Draconis...
Admittedly, such a strange mating wouldn't normally seem possible, and in my case that wasn't the story of my origin. I began as a simple bobcat, blue-white, already a somewhat unusual creature, but was happy in and of my own self, going about mewing as I would to others around me.
However, sometime I met up with a silver dragon, her name Thermoriax, who adopted me as her son. Eventually, she decided to give me a part of herself, changing my form and self, until I took on part of her form, being reborn by her, gaining scales, a ridge down the back of my neck, and my tail. Admittedly, I was worried at first, such odd changes taking place within me, but I trusted my new mother and didn't fight them, until they finally became a part of myself truly, and I feel almost as much dragon as I did cat. In some ways they're not all that greatly different.
In time I learned more about myself. One such thing I learned was that I could feel others thoughts more, project my own to them, a sort of communication of the minds. Over time, as my dragon feelings became more apparent, I let myself go more, experimenting in that direction, letting my form wander, until I realized I was able to adopt a more fully dragon form, which unfortunate for the chairs around me is 14 feet long! Small for the dragons I know, but still a surprising change! Admittedly, such wonders as changing one's form are commonplace for others, even regarded as just everyday life, for me I had never learned to change, to become anything but myself.
Now, of course, this leads to why I breathe snow, being silver, though mom never changed me enough for me to be able to paralyze anyone. Still, in time I managed to learn a rather strange thing on my own. When mixed with the intake of sugar and given a certain dragonish know-how, I manage to breathe out colored snow. But not just ordinary colored snow, in all sorts of different flavors, mostly depending on emotions, I think. Because I'm so attached to pink lemonade, I seem to exude it more easily than other flavors come to me.
Now, I wander about, a blue-white cat with scales and silver-tipped fur, leaving my pink lemonade snowballs around with other friends... whether they want one or not. :)
