Biggar Composite High School Senior Concert Band
The BCS2000 Senior Band is a group of musicians from grades 9-12. Band is a regular class that meets 3 times in a six day cycle. The senior band is preparing for its annual trip to the Springfest Canada Festival in Regina. The band will perform two works - Continental Overture and Lindberg Variations. In the past four trips to Springfest, the band received two silver (1998, 1999) and two gold awards (1996, 1997). During previous trips to the Moose Jaw Band Festival, the band received the following awards: The Moose Jaw Lions Edwin Cant Shield (1993), the Sask. Association of R.M.'s Grand Challenge Award (1992, 1993), the Wakamow Rotary Club Shield (1992), and the L.W. Patterson Award (1987).
