NEPTUNE

go back to aqua...

Bluish in color when viewed either on Earth or from an Earth-borne spaceship, Neptune, as we all know, is named after the god of the sea. Planet Neptune itself sports no trident (for raking the beach). But it does look very watery, though in reality it is not. N.B.: No water exists or probably ever existed in the Solar System except on Earth--our life-spawning H-2-O compound, unique as far as is known to date, despite NASA, sci-fi, et al., mythology to the contrary...

Neptune is the locus here of things bearing upon water--well, for instance, watercolors, not painted by him, but by your host.
