TAt the water tap in Maravovo Vera Tetelo (the small village). This water system was installed in late 1996 with Australian Aid money.
The middle photo is of biti kumara, a kind of garden magic, in this case for sweet potatoes. It involves tying certain potato plants with vines.
The bottom photo is of a hunter with a wild pig he has just caught and killed. He is preparing to burn off the hair before butchering. The Vaturanga continue to rely on hunting for a significant portion of their protein.
