What Do I Know

Is the end of the world approaching near?
I don't know, though some say so.
Should dying sinners hold Hell in fear?
I don't know, though some say so.

Then is one religion held especially dear?
I don't know, though some say so.
But shouldn't we believe what congregations hear?
I don't know, though some say so.

So what do I know? Well my reply must be:
Not very much but enough for me.
I know from within that God exists,
Though perhaps not seen by a mind that resists.

And I know from Creation that God is great.
The well of time, the whisperer of fate.
