Fred Coleman serves as our "office minister", practicing hospitality in the church office Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. His ministry includes answering the phone with extraordinary good cheer and humor, offering words of encouragement and his irresistible laughter to whomever wanders into the church, as well as keeping Pastor Jeff company and sane. Fred retired six years ago from BASF. Since easing his way into our congregation four years ago via the Contemporary Worship Service, Fred has become a reliable fixture in the life of our church family. Two years ago Fred found a calling in his official role of "office minister". In addition, Fred Coleman serves as president of the United Methodist Men, Sunday morning liturgist, and as part of the healing prayer team. |
