Belgium and Luxembourg

Hello !

Last week-end, three days, I and friends of mine visited two countries, Belgium and Luxembourg. We started our journey on Friday morning and went to Bonn. We got there our Switzerland's visa within 10 minutes, but to search the office we took three hours. Then we were wondering on the streets of Bonn seeing some beautiful buildings. In the evening we went to Koln. It is one of the most beautiful city. When we came just out of the railway station, we saw a church, pinnacles were trying to kiss the sky. The sculpture was simply great. Then we went to Aachen, we spent one night with our friend from India, who came there through the same programme, DAAD.

Next day, early in the morning, we leave for Belgium, the capital Brussels. There we decided to see Knoge. We travelled there by train, it took nearly one and a half hour. We saw, what they called Sea life. We saw different types of fishes, crabs, sea-horses, star-fishes and even sea-lions. Then we came back to Brussels in the evening, but due to time limit we framed our sight-seeing and only could see few buildings in Brussels. We found, as compared to Germany, Belgium is less developed.

Then we again returned to Aachen. Next day, it was sunday we took a week-end ticket and we travelled for Luxembourg. Nearly 90 percent journy was within the Germany. We travelled on the bank of rivers Rhine and Mossel. It was one of the memorable journey in my life. The river valley is very rich with the dense and green forests. Finally, we reached Luxembourg. It is small country, as of district in India. It is very wealthy country and the main source of income is the tourism. We collected information and marched towards Vianden. We saw this small town, and visited some tourist attractions. We saw one castle situated at the top of the green hill. Finally we travelled by cable-car or rope-way. It was great experience!

Now I have returned to Darmstadt, starting my project-work with new josh!

bye
