sculpts shallow whorls

shifted detritus sparkle
effervescent tidal litter

raw waves swish 
holographic crests
smash hapless shells
smite each hiccup
plashed down Neptune's shore

jellyfish hopelessly yield
die eventually yellow
wilt to other realms
seep peacefully yonder

shorebirds scurry
yank kelp pieces
snatch helpless snacks
scour retreating gobs
swallow whole edibles

footprints shimmer
reconnect to outlying grains

cease existence
