The church is not a building: the church is a people. We are part of a growing family that cares for one another through prayer, family life ministry, small groups, Bible studies, and a variety of social activities.

Third Reformed Church has been ministring in Grand Rapids area since 1875 and is part of the Reformed Church in America, one of the oldest denominations in North America. We understand that the Bible to be God's authoritative Word, confessing Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord. We share with fellow Christians the Apostles' Creed and other creeds of the Christian faith.

The church has recently highlighted children's ministry as a particular area of strength for the congregation. We seek to encourage men and women to share in the duties of deacon and elder, and in all the other offices and functions of the church.

Third Reformed Church is a medium size church. We are large enough to offer a rich variety of programs, yet small enough to maintain a sense of the community. One of our strengths is the age diversity of the congregation. We believe our mission statement is a good summary of our intent.
