Daniel Squibb

I am still working on this line. Daniel Squibb was a tallow melter in London. He was born in St. Bride's parish London 26 December 1792 and christened 10 February 1793. His parents were William and Mary Squibb, and I do not know where they came from.

I do not know whom, when or where Daniel married. I know of 3 children. Daniel's children were Elizabeth Ann, Susannah (married David Welch) and Daniel (married Margaret Evans).

On the 1851 census Daniel was living with his daughter Ann, her husband William Weston and their family. In May 1857 Ann, William and family left for Canada. There is no mention in the family that Ann's father came as well, so I believe that Daniel must have died between 1851-57.

Although Ann gives her birth place as Bethnal Green, I have been unable to find christenings for any Squibb children there, or in some of the surrounding churches.
