          Welcome to Hissoc Online, the home page of the Raffles Junior College History Society. This is our very first attempt at creating a home page, and many sections of this page are not up as of yet. However, amongst what we have now, we are sure you will find something that is of interest to you.

Why Hissoc?

          Obviously, 'Hissoc' is actually a shortening of the words 'History Society', and seeing that the latter might have been quite a mouthful, it got shortened somewhere along the line of the history of the Society, and has been known as such ever since to its members.

What's In These Pages?

          Well, we've got quite a lot lined up for you; first up, the RJC History Society is quite well known in Singapore for organising the annual Mock UN Conference. We therefore have a section on this exciting event, which will be taking place later this year; one can find out more about this Conference through this section.

          Also, history projects done by our members, as well as history-related activities organised and / or attended by our Society are covered in the Projects and Activities Page, where one can read interesting reports by our members.

          Being a history site, and furthermore being maintained by A-level students, we have a pretty extensive collection of outstanding A-Level History Paper 5 and History Paper 7 essays done by students of Raffles Junior College. Interested academics or desperate students may wish to take a look at that.
