Once upon the Internet
An e-mail came to me
Paid no heed I know not why
Remained a mystery
The message glowed and once again
It seemed to stand apart
Desensitized, I passed it by
Not listening to my heart
A voice within me seemed to say
Take a chance
Just one more time
I'll guide you carefully
Paying heed, I clicked the file
And much to my surprise
A sweet request reached out in pen
A mirror through the miles
We struck a chord and met in minds
Exploring deepest thoughts
Blending perfect harmony
Familiar from the start
The big agenda works alone
Broken hearts to mend
To bring together love's new form
