Drawing Step-By-Step

Step 1- I begin drawing on sketch paper and tracing paper with a normal gray (graphite) pencil. When I have the drawing exactly the way I want, I turn it over and cover the back of the paper with graphite. Then I transfer the drawing to thick, expensive illustration paper, usually Strathmore 4-ply Bristol.
