Social Studies Notebook Assignments
Semester 2

Notebook Rules

1. The Notebook is only used for Social Studies.
2. You must keep it neat and clean.
3. Do not tear out pages.
4. The Notebook must have your name and period.
5. You must place the assignment number on each page.
6. You must bring your notebook to class every day.
7. Do not lose your notebook. If it is lost you need to replace it and redo all your lost work.
8. Only place the assigned notebook assignments into the notebook. Do not use it for other assignments.
9. You must have the assignment list on the last page of the book and the assignment list must be up-to-date.

23. Notes on Video-"Everest." 10 facts about the film. (If student was not present for the film, then the student is to do questions 1-4 on page 149 in the textbook.

26. Chart on Hindu Beliefs (Hindu terms). Notes taken in class/student worksheet taped into notebook


Notebook will be checked 3/11 and 3/12 for assignments 22-26.

28. Notes on Buddha's life from slides or pages 156-157.

32. Map of China-labeled.(Based upon map on page 183 in the textbook.

33. Do Page 187, Questions 1-4 from the textbook.

34. Notes on the Zhou Dynasty. (188-193)

35. Notes on Confucius Video or 10 facts about Confucius.

36. Confucius Sayings--Write down 3 sayings of Confucius, and then write a paragraph for each of them explaining the paragraph and how it applies to you and today's world.
