Silver Threads' Mission Statement
Merry Meet and welcome!
The intention of Silver Threads is to promote pagan awareness, help build the pagan community in our states or providences as well as our country, planet and universe, to offer a place within our perspective states/provinces/countries a page that allows freedom for pagans to network and to bind our individual voices into one loud proud unified voice that says "I am pagan, my roots are pagan and I have returned to my ancestors ways!"
I built the first Silver Threads (in Kentucky) and got such a response that I decided to ask people outside my state to build pages for theirs. It has had a huge response and the idea of state Silver Threads pages has spread to COUNTRY and PROVIDENCES Silver Threads pages! My hope is that with one, two, or three people working on their country/province/state's page(s), that individuals will be able to write a page that helps their community and that is more effective than those outside the larger zines that cover all the territory possible (these are very helpful, but those within the state can write from an inside view).
