Budddhism is not an exotic religion, specifically asiatic.

It is a mould for historically adapted variants of an universal wisdom.

The respective fields of metaphysics and science are obviously separated. But as parts of an unique reality, they are connected by kind of an interface. And on this interface they must match together.

Science is one amids two major characteristics of modern civilisation.

Economic development is the other one.

The main problems of contemporary people depend on both scientific thought and economic behavior.
