I was born in Norfolk, VA. I spent the first two and a half years growing up in nearby Chesapeake, VA. My life, as much as I can remember, was a happy time.
When I was two and a half, my family moved to Vienna, VA, where I have lived the remainder of my life. I attended Parkwood preschool in Vienna when I was four, this being the only school I have attended that is not affiliated with the Catholic Church. When I was five, I entered Kindergarten at Our Lady of Good Counsel School, also in Vienna.
For nine years, I attended OLGC (also sometimes referred to as Old Ladies Gambling Casino). During that time, I played soccer with VYS, playing almost all positions, except half-back, and discovering that I wasn't very good at many of them. I also played baseball one season, and discovered that I wasn't very good at that either. My main problem lay in the fact that I couldn't hit the ball. I played basketball too, and you know, I wasn't very good at that either.
In fourth grade, I started to play the drums. It's a bad habit I keep with to this day. In sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, I was part of the diocesan honor band, which is the only notable thing I have ever done with having played the drums.
I also joined the boy scouts. I was a Tiger Cub, Cub Scout, Webelo, and Boy Scout. I eventually made my way all the way to Life Scout before the pressures of school forced me to concentrate more on school work than on Boy Scouts. I did learn some valuable lessons as a Scout, namely, I hate camping.
I ended up graduating from OLGC, and went to high school at Paul VI High School in Fairfax, VA. In high school, I participated in Model United Nations, helping our team to win the Model OAS (held at THE OAS) as St. Lucia junior year. I was also on the It's Academic Team (High School Bowl) where we had moderate success. My team won the CUA tournament senior year, and I was on the CUA all-star team junior year. I made two television appearances as a member of the It's Academic Team senior year.
It was also in high school that I decided to take up acting, something I had always had an interest in. I worked behind the scenes on Pippin, played in the pit orchestra for Hello, Dolly! and played the role of Francis Flute in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
I graduated from Villanova University. I was a political science major with a minor in theology. At Villanova, I continued those things which I started in high school. I was in the (pathetic excuse for a) band. Also, I appeared in two productions at Vasey Theater: Robin Starveling in A Midsummer Night's Dream and both Escalus' servant and a prisoner in Measure for Measure. I directed a scene from Much Ado About Nothing for the Student Theatre's Shakespeare in the Grotto.
Currently I am attending Albany Law School. Last year I was a member of the First Amendment Moot Court Team. This year, I am a member of the Moot Court Board and captain of the new Privacy Law Moot Court Team. I am also the editor-in-chief of the Albany Law School Literary Review. I have had a variety of jobs recently as well. I have worked as an intern at the I.R.S. in the estate division, N.Y.S. Office of the State Comptroller in the abandonded property division, and as a clerk for a judge in Catskill, which is a small, quaint village that smells like a bathroom. I have a wonderful fiance who is going to be with me for many years to come. You can see a picture of us from before our senior dance at Villanova here
So, in another year I'll finally have to find something to do with my life, like look for a job.
