What is Mulfor?

Mulfor is an acronym used by our projects for multiple use of forests and forest environment, which varies a
lot in different European countries.
Our aim is to integrate the different aspects of multiple use within initial vocational training.

Pedagogic Innovation

E-mail, Internet Relay Chat (IRC) used as teaching tools.
These modern tools were used to facilitate communication between students from all the countries
involved.
This theoretical part of the programme enables the students to form their own idea about MULFOR
through Europe.

International Activities

Courses and Placements Altogether 35 students took the opportunity to stay abroad.

2 Intensive courses were organised in Sweden and in the Netherlands during 3 weeks. The programme of the mixed groups of students consisted of classes, practical assignments and excursions.

1-4 Months work placement in France and Finland (e.g. at private forestry boards, national forest offices, forest research stations) gave the students a true experience of in the field of work.
