Hours : 7a.m.-3 p.m.

Monday-Friday

Circulation:

All books (except reference)- 3 weeks

Some encyclopedias and keyboarding books- overnight

Periodicals and vertical files-1 week

LIbrary Cards:

All students must have a library card to check out materials. A new card is issued to incoming ninth graders and all students new to Seminole High School. This card is to be used until the student graduates of withdraws. If the card is lost, a replacement will cost $1.00, and the student must wait one day while the card is made.A student must have his/her library card to checkout-NO EXCEPTIONS. Students are responsible for everything checked out on the card.

Fines:

Students with late materials will be charged 10 cents each day per item . The fine limit is $2.00 per book or $1.00 per magaziane or vertical file subject. Fines are charged for weekends and holidays if books are not returned on time. It is the student's responsiblity to return materials on time so that others are not deprived of using them.

CDROM reference programs SIRS (Social Issues Resources Series)-a series of 32 topics on social issues and science of reproduced articles from newspapers and periodicals from around the United States. DISCOVERING AUTHORS-biographicical information and critical essays on authors' works. NEWSBANK NEWSFILE-full-text articles selected from newspapers of over 450 U.S. cities. EBSCO MAGAZINE INDEX AND ARTICLES-ELITE & SELECT-an index of periodicals with a short summary of the article. Many references have the full-text. ENCYCLOPEDIAS-variety of general encyclopedias with detailed information.
