SAIF Southern Africa Institute of Fundraising Home Page

The Southern Africa Institute of Fundraising (SAIF) was established in 1986.  It is a non-profit voluntary organisation which exists to promote and encourage high standards of ethics, practice and public service among people involved in fundraising in Southern Africa.

SAIF is an organisation of individuals who aim to:

• assist members to become successful fundraisers;
• build fundraising as a noble profession;
• provide recognition and professional status;
• uphold high standards of ethics;
• be in the forefront of fundraising training and education;
• provide a forum for members to meet and exchange ideas; and
• encourage philanthropic giving.

SAIF Membership

SAIF members are recognised as fundraising professionals who have access to the collective wisdom of a national network of peers. Fundraisers and people involved with on-profit organisations who join SAIF become part of a supportive network with access to many benefits.
