Twenty-Third Psalm For Pagans
The Lord and Lady are my pace-setters I shall not rush They make me stop and rest for quiet intervals They provide me with visions of stillness which restores my serenity They lead me in ways of efficiency through calmness of mind Their guidance is peace Even though I have much to accomplish I will not worry For their presence is with me Their timelessness, their importance in my life will keep me in balance They prepare refreshment for me and renewal in the midst of chaos By anointing my spirit with their oils of tranquillity My cup of joyous energy overflows Surely harmony and correct action shall be the fruits of my hours and I shall walk in the pace of my Lord and Lady forever.
