This page describes the purpose of Mac's Thinktank and serves as an example for submissions.

The Problem:

Did you ever have an inspiration, an idea about how to solve one of our many modern problems? Then you shrugged it off. You thought, "I don't have the knowledge, experience, the time, or even the desire to carry it out. I probably don't even know what I'm talking about. Who am I, anyway?"

Who says your ideas are not valid? Since you don't have the knowledge or experience, you are not bound by the rules about how things are supposed to be done, and you are in the best position to be creative.

The Solution:

This site is a forum for those who have ideas to contribute, however outlandish. Feasibility of these ideas is not a concern. My hope is that those people who are in a position to implement them will be inspired by something they see on this site. It will be their job to mold our raw ideas into practical solutions.

The Details:

Recognition

I cannot promise any reward or recognition if someone uses your idea. My hope is that the motivation for your submissions is to provide a public service. Although I will not post it, I will keep your contact information. Anyone wanting to contact you about your idea can email me. I will then send their contact information to you.

Suggestions

Here are some suggested topics for submissions. Please to not limit yourself to these. The possibilities are endless.

Will we change the world? I don't know, but we can try.
