This page describes the purpose of Mac's Thinktank and serves as an example for submissions.

The Problem:

Did you ever have an inspiration, an idea about how to solve one of our many modern problems? Then you shrugged it off. You thought, "I don't have the knowledge, experience, the time, or even the desire to carry it out. I probably don't even know what I'm talking about. Who am I, anyway?"

Who says your ideas are not valid? Since you don't have the knowledge or experience, you are not bound by the rules about how things are supposed to be done, and you are in the best position to be creative.

The Solution:

This site is a forum for those who have ideas to contribute, however outlandish. Feasibility of these ideas is not a concern. My hope is that those people who are in a position to implement them will be inspired by something they see on this site. It will be their job to mold our raw ideas into practical solutions.

The Details:

• Fill out the form provided, defining the problem, stating the solution, and providing additional details as needed.
• I will also accept links to your own web sites if they follow the theme of this site. Your site must offer solutions to a problem.

• Submissions may include any level of detail.
• Submissions must be sincere.
• Submissions must present solutions that do not currently exist. For instance, "Buy my product" is not a valid solution for this forum.
• Submissions must advocate creating a better world by peaceful means. Submissions promoting violence, obcenity, or immoral acts will not be posted.
