the Risen Christ to proclaim the Gospel in ways which will renew and empower and
serve justice, so that all may share in the good creation which God has blessed us.

The mission of Episcopal Appalachian Ministries
is to inspire, nurture, and affirm those who serve
the unique needs of the people of Appalachia
through advocacy, consciousness-raising,
networking, education and other appropriate
programs, working through Diocesan channels
and with the authority of the respective bishops.
