Well, what a time. Things here in Japan have really been great the last couple of weeks, because of the World Cup. So far things have been going really well, both off and on the pitch. England is looking like it has a serious chance to get fairly high in the competition, maybe even win (fingers crossed). I have been watching as many games as I possibly can (not just England) and so far there has been very little disapointment. It is true that a couple of games were not exactly thrilling, but then some times safety play will get a team through to the next stage. Off the pitch there have been no real problems with fans getting voilent. I think that this is partly because of the feeling in Japan at the moment. Everyone, young and old has caught the World Cup fever. Me too.

In other news, I finally got my motorcycle. It is a Triumph Daytona 955i (Centeniary Edition). A special limited edition model released to celebrate 100 years of motorcycle manufacture. I am enjoying it so much, and I still have to finish wearing the engine in. Noriko has been my brave passenger again and seems to enjoy it as well. To those who know me, you will understand just how much I've wanted another bike and to get this one is a dream come true. Check out these few pictures. Triumph Pictures.

I finally put the first part of the Java tutorials on my site. Just follow the links through the "learning" section to the left and you will get there no trouble. It has been ready for a while but I never got around to putting it onto the site.

That's about it, great bike, great football, great month. Until next time, enjoy the soccer and if you have a bike, ride it!
