Postcard reveries.

living; enjoying warm
sun-baked pavement
once dark sable, but now
bleak dull sullied grey
from wear of time

jeweled greens of spring
varied and beauteous
chartreuse, jade, emerald, lime, olive
speckling the landscape

creamsicle sunsets amalgamate
strawberry and grape skies
bonfire sun transforms into
glowing embers then ashen nothing
scattered and blown to trees'
soft curling verdant fingertips

wish you were here--
