Well, Caleb has managed a couple firsts in his life.

Caleb swallowed his first inedible object: a penny. He put it in his mouth and when I put my hand out for him to spit it out, he decided swallowing it would be better.

He also sucked on his first black marker, which happened just this morning while Brian and I were getting things ready in our Sunday school classroom (we teach the junior department--4th-6th graders). He found one in the trashcan and when we looked up to see what he was up to, the marker was already ditched and he had a very black mouth.

Before you all start thinking we're bad parents, ask any parent of a boy and I'm sure you'll get similar stories. :)
