A word that expresses several distinct concepts in the Bible: As used in a physical sense, heaven is the expanse over the earth <Gen. 1:8>. And YAHWEH called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

The tower of Babel reached upward to heaven <Gen. 11:4>. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. YAHWEH is the possessor of heaven <Gen. 14:19>.

And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high YAHWEH, possessor of heaven and earth:

Heaven is the location of the stars <Gen. 1:14; 26:4>

And YAHWEH said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: Gen 26:4: And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

as well as the source of dew <Gen. 27:28>. Therefore YAHWEH give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

Heaven is also the dwelling place of YAHWEH when you say YAHWEH you say JESUS.

<Gen. 28:17; Rev. 12:7-8>. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. Rev 12:7-8: And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

It is the source of the new Jerusalem <Rev. 21:2,10>. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from YAHWEH out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of YAHWEH is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and YAHWEH himself shall be with them, and be their YAHWEH And YAHWEH shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his YAHWEH and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from YAHWEH Because of the work of the GOD of Abraham on the Cross, heaven is, in part, present with believers on earth as they obey YAHWEH commands here in John 14 if you read and think about who JESUS is you will find that He is GOD the first living flesh part of YAHWEH Here on earth. Read <John 14:2,23>. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? JESUS saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. JESUS saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us YAHWEH? Be lievest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Here is more proof that He. JESUS is the GOD of Abraham. "IF YE LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS."

And I will pray YAHWEH, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my YAHWEH, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? JESUS answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

The word heaven is also used as a substitute for the name of YAHWEH <Luke 15:18,21; John 3:27>. I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: (KJV)And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. John 3:27: John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

The kingdom of YAHWEH and the kingdom of heaven are often spoken of interchangeably <Matt. 4:17; Mark 1:15>. From that time GOD began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Mark 1:15: And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of YAHWEH is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

At the end of time a new heaven will be created to surround the new earth. This new heaven will be the place of YAHWEH' perfect presence <Is. 65:17; 66:22; For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isa 66:22: For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the YAHWEH, so shall your seed and your name remain. Read also Rev. 21:1>. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Then there will be a literal fulfillment of heaven on earth.

HEAVENLY CITY,

The city prepared and built by YAHWEH for those who are faithful to Him <Heb. 11:10,16>. For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is YAHWEH. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their YAHWEH for he hath prepared for them a city.

Known as the heavenly Jerusalem <Heb. 12:22>, But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living GOD, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, The living GOD. JESUS CHRIST. this is the city that is to come <Heb. 13:14>. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. These references in Hebrews find their fulfillment in <Revelation 21--22>. And I saw no temple therein: for the LORD YAHWEH Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. The New Jerusalem is illuminated by the glory of YAHWEH It serves as the dwelling place of YAHWEH among His redeemed forever. "HEAVEN" is the home of The GOD of Abraham which is JESUS CHRIST and His Father, which is YAHWEH. YAHWEH is The FATHER of all things. He is the CREATOR of the very spirit of life itself. JESUS is the GOD of this world and all life thereof. When you think of GOD think of JESUS. When you think of YAHWEH think of the CREATOR of JESUS. The GOD, of our GOD. "YAHWEH".

Heaven, a concept found in various forms in most world religions, refers to the dwelling place of

JESUS, gods, and other celestial beings and the place or state of being of the elect or righteous after death. In the Old Testament heaven is the abode of the Hebrew GOD YAHWEH to which only exceptional human beings, such as ELIJAH, are raised after life on Earth. In the New Testament heaven is the place where all believers in JESUS CHRIST will reign with him in glory after the Last JUDGMENT. The traditional Christian belief is that after the general RESURRECTION of the dead, bodies and souls will be reunited in heaven. In Islam, paradise (al-janna, "the garden") is a place of physical as well as spiritual delights for the saved. Some conceptions of heaven in Eastern religions, such as the Orthodox Buddhist NIRVANA, differ vastly from Judeo-Christian and Islamic views; many, however, bear strong resemblance. Although the popular theological interpretation of heaven is a condition of GRACE with YAHWEH, the allegorical depictions of heaven in the Bible, in other sacred scriptures, and in mythologies throughout the world are typically elaborate.

Here is what the Encyclopedia says. More proof of JESUS as the GOD of Abraham the GOD of my life.

 JESUS CHRIST the living GOD

JESUS, or JESHUA ben Joseph, as he was known to his contemporaries, was a Jew who appeared as a prophet, a teacher, and a sage in Palestine about AD 30. His followers believed him to be the MESSIAH of Israel, the one in whom YAHWEH had acted definitively for the salvation of his people (hence, the title CHRIST, a Greek rendition of the Hebrew Meshiah, meaning "anointed one"). This belief took distinctive form when, after the execution of Jesus by the Romans (acting on the recommendation of the Jewish authorities), he reportedly presented himself alive to some of his followers. The RESURRECTION of JESUS became a fundamental tenet of the religion that would soon be called CHRISTIANITY. According to Christian belief, JESUS was GOD made man (he was called both "Son of YAHWEH " and "Son of Man" and identified as the second person of the TRINITY); his life and his death by crucifixion are understood to have restored the relationship between YAHWEH and humankind--which had been broken by the latter's sinfulness (see ATONEMENT; ORIGINAL SIN); and his resurrection (the event celebrated by EASTER) affirms YAHWEH'S total sovereignty over his creation and offers humankind the hope of SALVATION.

These core beliefs about JESUS are summed up in the words of the Nicene Creed (see CREED): "I believe in one Lord JESUS CHRIST, the only-begotten Son of YAHWEH, Begotten of his Father before all worlds, YAHWEH of GOD, Light of Light, Very GOD of very GOD, Begotten, not made, Being of one substance with the Father, By whom all things were made: Who for us men, and for our salvation came down from heaven, And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, And was made man, And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried, And the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, And Ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead: Whose kingdom shall have no end."

HEAVENS, NEW

A term which, when used with new earth, refers to the perfected state of the created universe and the final dwelling place of the righteous. The phrase is found in <Isaiah 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13>, and in a slightly modified form in <Revelation 21:1>.

Rooted deep in Jewish thought was the dream of a new heaven and a new earth, a re-creation of the universe that would occur following the Day of the Lord <Is. 13:10-13; Joel 2:1-2,30-31>. The concept of a re-created universe is closely related to the biblical account of the Creation and the Fall <Gen. 1:1> and the sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden <Genesis 3>. Because of their sin, "the creation was subjected to futility.... [and] the bondage of corruption" <Rom. 8:19,21>. The need for a new heaven and a new earth arises from man's sin and God's judgment, not from some deficiency or evil in the universe <Gen. 3:17>.

The apostle Paul referred to the Old Testament doctrine of the Day of the Lord and applied it to the events that will occur at the Second Coming of Christ <2 Pet. 3:10,13>. When Christ returns, this present evil age will give way to the age to come. The universe will be purified and cleansed by the power of God. This will be reminiscent of the purging of the earth in the days of Noah, but on a universal scale.

In my way of thinking is this? When you think of YAHWEH you think of "HEAVEN". When you think of JESUS the GOD of the Hebrews you think of HEAVEN. When you think of being one with each other and GOD and His Father YAHWEH, you think of "HEAVEN" HEAVEN can be a state of mind. Or can be real, it is up to you to know who you are…….
